ROWLINSON, ELIZABETH (BETTY) JEAN ABERCROMBIE (KESSON). It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother on Saturday February 23, 2013 at Bluewater Health. Much loved mother of Ruth (Bryan) Chappell and Larry (Deb) Rowlinson. Cherished grandmother of Kelly (Troy) Chappell, Kim (Gord) Bailey, Tracy (Sean) Chappell, Laurie Rowlinson – Thorpe, Jennifer Rowlinson, Shannon (Brian) Rawcliffe, David (Kelsey) Rowlinson and Amey (Chris) Reinders and 16 great grandchildren. Mom was born in Petrolia on April 7, 1919. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Rowlinson (1979). Predeceased by her parents Alexander Kesson and Jean Abercrombie Kesson. Upon her retirement from Manley’s at age 65, Mom began a very busy second career volunteering with the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Senior V.I.P., Canadian Mental Health Association (Interlink) and at Sarnia General Hospital and Marshall Gowland Manor. Mom’s loving way, genuine kindness and the sparkle in her eye will never be forgotten. Mom will be forever loved and missed. A funeral service will be held at the D.J.
