Surrounded by his family, Jeffrey Brian Frank Rogers (Mr. Rogers), passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Bluewater Health at the age of 65.  Jeff is survived by his wife and lifelong partner Elizabeth (Liz) Rogers. Loving father of Darren (Jennifer) Rogers of Sarnia, Darryl (Stacy) Rogers of Barrie, and Dean (Danielle) Rogers of Sarnia. Cherished grandfather of Sydney, Gavin, Andrew, Brendan and Lukas. Also survived by his sister Eileen (Gord) White of Fonthill, brother James Rogers of Fonthill and Nancy Hesse of Strathroy.  Predeceased by his parents Harry and Dorothy Rogers, sister Ruby Janzen, sister-in-law Barbara Rogers and brother-in-law Henry Janzen.  Jeff was a teacher, program consultant and coach for the Lambton County (Kent) Board of Education for 34 years. He was a hockey coach and manager for the Sarnia Minor Hockey Association and named to the Mayors’ honour role for his contributions in the community.  He enjoyed gardening, spending time as an avid stamp collector, playing his guitar and connecting with family.  Family and friends will be received for visitation on Monday, January 5, 2015 at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  A funeral service and a celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 1:00 p.m.  Interment to follow in Lakeview Cemetery.  Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation (cheques only at the funeral home please).
