ROBIN, Jacques – Unexpectedly at London Health Sciences cardiac care unit in London, Ontario on Saturday, February 9, 2013, Jacques Robin of Woodstock, ON in his 76th year.  Beloved husband of Jean.  Loving father of André (Wendy) of Moncton, NB and Kevin (Marian) of Tottenham, ON.  Most loved Grampy of Gabrielle, Alexander and Christopher.  Brother of Jeanine Robin Johnson (Erwin) and Lise Robin Fontaine and brother-in-law of Margaret Delaney.  Also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.  In his cherished Christian home of worship, Jacques will be missed by his many friends and parishioners of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish.  Jacques was born in Granby, Quebec.  He served his country for 27 years as a member of the Canadian military and was awarded the Canadian Peacekeeping Service Medal from the Department of National Defense in 2000.  Upon retiring from the military, Jacques enjoyed a civilian career for more than 20 years, as management with Quebec Cartier Mining in Fermont, Quebec and as a consultant with U.S. Steel in India.  Jacques and Jean as life’s partners immensely enjoyed life together and were considered world travelers, seeking new sights and its adventures. Family, friends and the world he touched will sincerely miss Jacques Robin.  A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 904 Dundas Street, Woodstock, ON, on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Father Rick Dales as celebrant.  Cremation to follow.  If desired, memorial donations to the Holy Trinity Building Fund would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, Woodstock, (519) 537-3611.
