Roberts, Vivian M. of Bobier Nursing Home, Dutton and formerly of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, April 14th, 2013, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Charles Roberts and dearly loved mother of Randy Roberts (Cynthia Nurse) and Sandra Pyper (John), all of St. Thomas. Loved grandmother of Meagen and John (Aleasha). She was the last of her family. Vivian was born in Chatham on September 9th, 1929, the daughter of the late Fred and Violet (McLaren) Jones. Vivian worked for Bell Telephone and then owned and operated Roberts Answering Service.

In Celebration of Vivian’s life the family will receive friends at the Pyper home, 96 Talbot St., St. Thomas on Sunday, April 21st from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.  Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers of the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital and Bobier Nursing Home for their care and compassion.
