Passed away suddenly at his home in Port Lambton, TREZ RICHARDS, was in his 90th year. Trez is survived by his wife of 24 years Doris (nee Symington), his children Geoff And Mollie, Colin and the late Jane, and Catherine. He is also survived by sister-in-law Lois and Tob Wakfield. Trez was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Ethel Richards and his brother Colin and his wife Pam. Born in South Africa, he served during World War II in North Africa with the South African Air Force and later joined the British Army and served in Europe. He immigrated to Canada in 1957 settling in Bancroft before moving to Lambton County. A service remembering Trez’s life will be held on Wednesday, April, 9, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia. Visitors will be received prior to the service from 12:00 noon to 12:45 p.m. Rev. Brian Horrobin officiating. Interment will be in Hillsdale Cemetery.
