Peacefully at Bluewater Health Sarnia, Alex  passed away on July 18 after a brief illness at the age of 65.  He leaves behind his loving wife, Barb, of 43 years; his daughter Jen (Warren) Glaister of Sarnia;  his son Sean (Dawn) of Fergus;  6 grandchildren – Maddy, Mya, Carrington, Kai, Evan and Kenzie;  his mother Eda of Toronto;  sisters-in-law Yvonne (Dave) Crook of Nova Scotia and Millee (Claude) Sartorio of Switzerland;  a niece, a nephew, 3 great-nieces and a great-nephew;  many cousins and relatives in both Canada and Germany. Predeceased by his father Hans, sister Elona, and niece Tammy.  Also his many friends and former co-workers in Orangeville and his friends in Sauble Beach.  Alex was retired but worked part time as a Crossing Guard in Sarnia.  He loved to golf and spend summers at his trailer in Sauble Beach.  Cremation has taken place and at his request there will be no service.  Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the charity of your choice.  Arrangements entrusted to
