images-4Sharon Rose Barrett went home to her angels in Calgary, AB on Friday, August 14, 2015.She was 69 years old. Born April 26, 1946 in Regina, SK. Sharon was the first-born child of Cecil Baguley and Ethel Elizabeth Harmen. Her Grandparents came to Canada in 1913 From England and Orkney Islands. She was big sister and second “Mom” to five brothers and three sisters. Sharon was blessed and loved by four children, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends that called her “MOM”. Sharon gave so much to her family, her friends and other people around her and she asked for very little in return. She had to face many hardships in her life but she battled on against all adversity, always continuing to display courage and a truly fierce independence nature. What you saw was what you got, and what you got was a big warm smile genuine and full of love. She loved children and animals, the most vulnerable of spirits.  Sharon had a silly, funny creative side.  She had principles that she lived by…. “LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH LIKE YOU WERE DYING and SING LIKE NO ONES LISTENING and DANCE LIKE NO ONES WATCHING.” Sharon was a breath of fresh air. She was an inspiring woman with a lot of life experiences that she used to help others. Sharon was genuine, selfless and showed us the preciousness of life. Her lasting legacy of family and unconditional love will not be forgotten. Hold happy memories of Sharon in your hearts and cherish them as she cherished you. Sharon is survived by her children Ron Barrett (son) and partner Lori Dreagon. Troy Barrett (son) and Anita (daughter in law) Grandchildren Dalton, Troy, and Kyle.
