Faith was a foundation within Ann’s life and in 2013 she celebrated her 50th anniversary as a member of the Catholic Women’s League.
In addition to the CWL, Ann was a committed volunteer for many years with local organizations such as the Second Helping thrift store, and the school breakfast program. She was also an avid early morning walker, a quilter, and a very enthusiastic card player.
Ann’s faith was of great comfort to her during her recent cancer diagnosis and we thank Father David West for his support of both her and the family.
Heartfelt thanks to Ann’s many friends and neighbours whose calls, visits and prayers meant so very much to her and her family.
We would also like to thank the palliative care staff at Northumberland Hills for their care and compassion.
Friends may call at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 11 King Street West, Colborne, on Friday, January 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 25 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, Grafton.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Northumberland Hills Hospital or The Friends of Presqu’ile Provincial Park would appreciated. Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
