PupichwebCharles Pupich, peacefully and surrounded by the love of his wife and daughter at Summit Place Nursing Home, Owen Sound on Saturday, May 25, 2013.  Charlie Pupich, formerly of Elmwood and the Queen’s Hotel in Hanover, at the age of 100.

Born in Croatia on March 23, 1913, son of the late Charles and Maria (nee Lukesic) Pupich. Charles was a WWII Veteran, a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Hanover Branch No. 130 and a member of the Elmwood Seniors Club.

Dearly loved husband of 75 years of Elia Pupich.  Loving father of Dawn McCulloch of Sauble Beach and predeceased by sons, Charles Jr. and Glenn Pupich.  Survived by sisters Goldie Rivers and Mary Whitford.  Predeceased by Bob and Danica Pupich, Betty and Aldo Tutti, Rosie and John Crnich and Jim Rivers.

Grandpa of Tasha (Dylan) Thomas, Michelle (Steve) Waugh, Brad (Carrie) McCulloch, Ryan McCulloch and Janet Pupich and Great-Grandpa of Claire, Sarah, Tyler, Travis and Kasey.

To honour Charles wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. A Family Celebration of his life will be held privately.  Arrangements entrusted to Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.

Memorial donations to the charity of your choice were appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
