Prentice BeatricePeacefully, at Northumberland Hills Hospital, on Monday, December 17, 2012 in her 99th year with her family by her side.  Beatrice  was a veteran of the WWII Land Army Timber Corp.  Beatrice was a war bride and arrived in Canada in 1946 on the Aquitania.  Beloved wife of the late Harold.  Loving mother of Francis (Lynn), Karen (Lloyd) Linkie and Joan (Bill) Stover.  Cherished grandmother of Carrie-Anne (John), Terry (Susan), Stacy (Chris), Lisa (Darryl), Jeremy, Darcy, and Shaelan (Angela).  Dear great grandmother of Tyler, Ethan, Skylar, Grace, Renee, Serena, Karissa and Mason.  Predeceased by her parents William and Harriet Engall, her sisters Gladys, Pauline, Joy, and Hilda and her brother Fred.  Beatrice will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews here and in England.  Friends will be received at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E., Cobourg, on Thursday December 20 from 7-9 pm.  A funeral service will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church, Grafton, on Friday December 21 at 2 pm with visitation from 12 – 2 pm.  Interment in St. George’s Cemetery following the service.  Donations to St. George’s Anglican Church or Northumberland Hills Hospital Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.  Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
