At Riverview Gardens, Chatham, on Thursday December 12th, 2013, Mrs. Rosalie Pollock of Chatham in her 92nd year.  Cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Selina Janssens.  Beloved wife of the late William (1968).  Loving mother of George and his wife Jean, and Rosalie and her husband Hugh Terry.  She will be lovingly remembered her grandchildren Tracy(Sean), Jeff, David, Dan(Beth), and Jean(Richard), her great grandchildren Sean(Jill), Michael, Michelle, Perry(Erin), Cory, Candice, Stephanie, Samuel and Ella, and her great great children Carson, Aubrey and Madison.  Caring sister of Betty Janssens.  Predeceased by her daughter Judy (1986) and son Ronald (2008), and brothers Willson and Fred.  Rosalie had a very active life which included bowling, golfing, dancing, card playing, and travelling.  She liked to see how people in other countries lived.  Rosalie was a long time member of the U.C.W. at St. Andrew’s United Church.  She had many good friends-Norma, Jane, Deloris, Agnes, Sandy, Gary and so many more that we are not aware of.  She had a sunny disposition and will be dearly missed by all.  Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 visiting on Sunday December 15th visiting from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.  The funeral service for Mrs. Pollock will be conducted in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday December 16th at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Mark Perry of St. Andrew’s United Church officiating.  Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.  Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society.  On-line condolences may be left at
