PLANTE, AurorePeacefully passed on Friday, August 23rd, 2013 at the age of 90 years. Predeceased in 1980 by her husband Armand Plante. Daughter of the late Ludger and of the late Léa (née Trottier) Simon. Loving mother of Normand Plante (Leona) and Diane Bozic (Steven) both of Markstay, Alice Boivin (Jean-Paul) of Coniston and Francine Soullière (René) of Sudbury. Predeceased by her sons Jean-Paul Plante (Georgette of Coniston) and Hubert Plante. Dear sister of Jeanne Armstrong of Montréal, Qc, Cécile Laviolette of Sudbury, Alice Lavallée of Hamilton and Léa Rochon (Earl) of Warren. Predeceased by her brothers Arthur (late Jacqueline), Udger (Antoinette of Sudbury) and by her sisters Melina Renaud and Julienne Grenier. Sadly missed by her 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the Lasalle Residence Staff for the care given during Mom’s stay. Aurore loved music and enjoyed dancing. In her younger years, gardening was a great passion of hers. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Monday, August 26, 2013 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 27th, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St-Mark’s Church at Markstay. Donations (by cheque only) to the Lung Association would greatly be appreciated.
