PINNEGAR–  Gerald “Jerry” A. Pinnegar passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, November 25, 2012 in his 81st year.  .  Gerald is survived by his loving wife Joan Pinnegar.  Proud father of David (Tracy) Pinnegar of Paris, Ted (Judy) Pinnegar of London, John “Rick” (Pamela) Pinnegar of Peterborough, and Greg (Deanna) Pinnegar of St. Thomas. Cherished grandpa of Becky, Tanner,  Christopher, Martha, Curtis, Rachel, Mitchell, Katherine, Victoria, Kaitlyn and Madelyn.  Brother of Charles (Audrey) Pinnegar of Dorchester.  Jerry is also survived by his many nieces and nephews in the area.  Predeceased by his brother Leonard (1964).  Jerry retired as a Systems Analyst from Northern Telecom.  He was a past Commander and Training Officer of the St. Thomas Power & Sail Squadron, Past Master of St. David’s #302 A.F.&A.M Masonic Lodge, Past District Deputy of St. Thomas District Masons, a member of the Lodge of Perfection, Rose Croix and was a 32nd Degree Mason.  Jerry was also a member of the Pelee Masonic Lodge #627 A.F.&A.M, a former member of the Mocha Shrine London, Hiro Shrine Club and Clown Unit.  Jerry enjoyed boating and fishing with family and friends at the family cottage in Port Bruce and the cottage on Millage Island in the Kawarthas.  Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  A masonic service under auspice of St. David’s Lodge #302 A.F.&A.M. will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 6 pm.  The funeral service will also be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:30 pm.  Cremation to follow.  A private interment of ashes will be held in Dorchester Cemetery.  In Lieu of flowers donations gratefully acknowledged to the Lung Association.  Personal condolences to the family can be made at
