WEB2_Penrose_RuthannePassed away suddenly from us Sunday, January 26, 2014 in her 30th year, at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Windsor. She was born June 24, 1984 in Alliston, Ontario.  She is survived by her parents, Eric and Charlotte, her partner John, her sister and brother-in-law Amber and Matt, brothers James and Simon, nephew Jonah and niece Audrey – and a treasure chest full of friends. Rue/Foofy/Foonis was zealous about life – a bright light of vibrant enthusiasm. Known for her loyal and dedicated friendship, her pictures constantly show that characteristic charming big smile aside so many of her dear companions. She was a bundle of energy, always ready to release a sparkle of sweet refreshing laughter at a moment’s notice. Brave and strong, Ruthanne remains a selfless inspiration and a constant encouragement to be adventurous and creative in experiencing the greatest Love in Life.  The joy that she spread into the world flowed from her relationship with Jesus. She’d have wanted all of you to remember that when there is dark, He is the light, when there is a need, He is the provider. She’d have wanted to remind you that we need to take care of each other – laugh and cry and love together. She’d have wanted you, especially right now, to remember that where there is pain and that deep sense of loss – that He is the Comforter who Loves you without fail.  If you so desire, memorial donations to the University Community Church, Trinity Evangelical Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 at 2 pm at University Community Church (2320 Wyandotte St W., Windsor)  and on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014 at 2 pm at Trinity Evangelical Church (330 Conservation Dr, Waterloo). Arrangements entrusted to Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Share memories, photos or make a donation at
