Peacefully, on November 4, 2012 at 93 years of age. Loving husband and best friend of late Evelyn Mary (Cecile). Survived by daughter Margret Anne Bomar and husband Tom of Charlottesville, Virginia, son Norman and wife Susan of Woodlawn, Ontario, also daughter Marilyn Ruth Skuce and friend John Lonche of Port Stanley, Ontario. Loving grandfather of Sarah Peacey Mears husband Morgan of Raleigh, North Carolina and Adam Peacey and fiancée Pamela Rice of Toronto, Ontario and Jessica Nesseler-Cass and husband David of Portland, Oregon. Cherished great- grandfather of Arleigh and Teagan Mears, Emma Peacey and McCaleb, Evelina and Chartlotte Nesseler-Cass . Predeceased by parents Norman and Mary Peacey. Also predeceased by brothers Walter, Gordon, and sister Mildred. Howard was master of St. Andrews Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. #642 in 1981 also past master of King Edward Masonic Lodge #688 in 1970 and 1972 Harrow, Ontario. Life member of Pelee Masonic Lodge #627 Pelee Island. Honorary member of Palace Masonic Lodge #604 Windsor, Ontario, and Ionic Masonic Lodge #474 Redford, Michigan. Life member of Scottish Rite Valley of Windsor, Lodges of Perfection and Rose Croix and Consistory Hamilton, Ontario. Member of Mocha Temple Shrine London, past president Moramos Shrine Club in Windsor 1977 also member of Sun Parlor Shrine Club in Leamington. Howard was retired after 30 years with Chrysler Canada Windsor. Special thanks to the Staff of 2North at Hotel Dieu for the loving care and support given to Howard and his family. Howard was most recently a resident at Seasons Royal Oak LaSalle and the family wishes to thank their team for their care and consideration. If you so desire, donations to Shriners Children’s Fund and the St. Stephen’s Church Building Fund would be appreciated. Visitation Monday 7pm-9pm. Masonic Service Monday 7:30pm at Families First Funeral Home & Tribute Centre (519-969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave. On Tuesday, friends are invited to join the family after 1pm at St. Stephen’s Church (5280 Howard Ave. South) followed by Funeral Service at 2pm.
