Passed away suddenly on Thursday September 12, 2013 in his 61st year. Bob was a

longtime resident of Crown Hill. Treasured son of the late Herb (August 1998) and Doreen

(December 1997) Parker, formerly of RR#1, Stroud and predeceased by his sister Kathy. He

will be lovingly missed by his cousins Rex and Jean Toews, his retired team of “Girls” , and

many friends from his Barrie Fastball family. Bob spent many years volunteering as a Coach

in the Barrie and Area Ladies Fastball League with his father Herb and will be remembered

for his dedication, patience, and love and knowledge of the game. He was kind and giving

and a mentor to many. He will also be fondly remembered by his co-workers at the Barrie

Branch of the Canadian Red Cross where he worked as a driver faithfully delivering clients to

their appointments, always with a happy smile for everyone. A Celebration of Life for friends

and family will be held at the Oro Station Community Center. Please come and share your

memories on Friday May 23rd, 2014 from 7-9pm (Short service at 7:30pm) at 31 Ridge Road

East at the 7th Line of Oro and Ridge Road. You are invited to hop in the car and come as

you are because Bob would of liked it that way.
