PALMER, Mary (Lampman, nee Langs) of St Thomas and formerly of Port Stanley peacefully at her residence Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in her 97th year.Born March 21, 1917 in Windham Centre, Norfolk County, Ontario.  Survived and missed by her son Sid (Robert). Also sorely missed by her granddaughter Kelly, and many, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by her husband Stan Lampman  and her husband of 40 years, Ken Palmer  and her son Ken Jr. (2013). Also, predeceased by her parents George and Bertha Langs (nee Ross) and her siblings Virgil, Robert, Beatrice, Isaac and their spouses.Mary was a long-time employee of Dimmick’s Dry Goods, Port Stanley, and the Cinderella Shop, St. Thomas. She enjoyed a long and healthy retirement. She missed her husband Ken dearly since his death.

Friends and family will be received at Christ Anglican Church, Port Stanley on Friday,January 17th from 12:30-2:00 p.m. followed by the service of celebration at 2:00 p.m. Father William Ward to conduct the service. Cremation has taken place. Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas in charge of arrangements.  Remembrances may be made to Christ Church (Anglican), Port Stanley
