Page, Gerard  “Jerry” Ferdinand of St. Thomas, passed away on Monday, April 28th, 2014, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in his 93rd year. Dearly loved husband of  Irene (Bombardier) Page and much loved father Gregory Page of St. Thomas Margaret and her husband Castro Kelly of Alberton and Marlene Page of St. Thomas. Loved grandfather of Suzanne Jarrett (Keith), Michael Kelly (Laura) and Stephanie Clark (Jason) and great grandfather of Justice, Austin, Jayden and Jada. Predeceased by a step-sister Theresa Hurley. Gerard was born in Quebec on June 6, 1921, the son of the late Harry and Jeanne (Dumas) Page. Gerard served in the Navy (cook), and the Army (M.P.) during World War II. He worked over 45 years for Essex Wire.

Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas until Thursday and then to Holy Angels’ Church where Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Holy Angels’ Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Prostate Cancer Research.
