On Tuesday April 11, 2017 Bryan lost a long battle despite all efforts by the medical staff at Surrey Memorial Hospital. Born March 30, 1948 in Fort Coulonge, QC and spending the latter part of life in the West Coast. Joining his Mother Joan and Sister Brenda in Heaven. Sadly missed by all family and friends.

Peacefully, with her family by her side, our dear daughter, sister and aunt, Patricia (Pat) Louise Habart of London passed away on April 18, 2017, just shy of her 73rd birthday.  Predeceased by her father Horace Habart (2003).  Dearly loved and sadly missed by her mother, Lillian Habart (nee Vernon) of London, sister Susan Peacock (Jim Price) of Rodney, nephews Barry Peacock, Jamie (Joanne) Peacock all of London, and Ryan (Elsa) Peacock of Dutton.  Special Aunt to Addy, Ben, Blake and Cate.  Pat was a kind and giving soul who dedicated most of her life to the care and well-being of her Mom and Dad.

Betty Elma Voisin (née Blackwell) formerly of Teeswater and Formosa, passed away at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton on Thursday, April 13th, 2017 in her 86th year.

Beloved wife of the late Magnus “Mac” Voisin who predeceased her on February 28th, 2015.

Dear mother of John Voisin (Susan) of Formosa, Mary Lou Montgomery (Dave) of Teeswater, Garry Voisin (Kathy) of Barrie, Calvin Voisin (Betty) of Hanover, Steven Voisin (Vicki) of Teeswater, Richard Voisin (Cathy) of Walkerton and Bradley Voisin (Stephanie) of Ottawa.

Sadly missed by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.

Fondly remembered by her sister Bev MacDonald (Hugh) of Teeswater, sister-in-law Millie Blackwell of Ilderton and several nieces and nephews.

HAHN:  Peacefully, at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario, Ella Ione (Peggy) Hahn, in her 97th year, on Wednesday April 5, 2017.  Predeceased by her parents, Ellsworth and Mae Seabrook; her husband, Jim Hahn, and their children Paul Hahn and Lynne Hahn; and her siblings, Bill Seabrook, Jack Seabrook, Maxine Pringle, Laferne Seabrook and Archie Seabrook. Survived by her sister, Lois Challinor; her grandson, Mark Hahn; her great-grand-daughter, Madeline Hahn; and her many nieces and nephews, including Ken Hahn; Susan and Clay Seabrook; Cathy, Debbie, John, Mark and Diana Seabrook and Vanda Rawikainen; David and Charles Pringle; Beth, Bill and Robert Seabrook; and John II, Geoffrey and Mark Challinor.  A Hahn family funeral service is scheduled to take place on Saturday June 17, 2017, at  10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 1331 4th Avenue West, Owen Sound, Ontario. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Jamie Gowland (Marcie), Jake Gowland (Alley), Andrea Cordes (Josh), Tiara Gowland (Mark), Holly Hanna (Matt), Shannon Schiestel (Rob), Tori Walters (Steve), Jordine Meyer (Andrew), Nash and Tanner Meyer and Craig and Alli Meyer and 5 great-grandchildren, Becksen, Cameron, Dawson, Leo and Natalie.

Peter Bassitta passed away peacefully in his home with his entire family by his side on Friday March 24th, 2017, just 5 days before his 89th birthday.
He will always be remembered by the love of his life, Leonore, who were together for 53 years, his 3 girls and their families, |Barbara and Mike Minnick and daughters,|Carolyn and Natalie, Susanne and Del Wilmot and their children, Jenna and Graham, and Nicola and Scott Osborne and their children, Peter and Erin, and nephew Juergen Trotz.
He was a WW II vet and immigrated to Canada in 1956 and began his new life in Toronto. He soon married Leonore in 1965 and together had 3 girls in the years following. They purchased their dream farm in Proton Station in 1975 and over the years made it the centre of all of the family, and where he remained until his final days. He always said he was the richest man on earth, all he needed was his family by his side, good food, good beer and a wonderful home to enjoy them all in.
The family would like to thank Dr. Winfield for his kindness and caring over the years, the Waterloo Wellington CCAC and all the wonderful nurses, |PSW’s and all the kind caring people that helped so much when he needed it the most. Surrounded by the love of his family, he was able to make his final journey with comfort and dignity.

BINGEMAN MOULE, Ruth (nee Shipp), of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully at her residence, the Valleyview Home on Friday, March 24, 2017, in her 93rd year.  Beloved wife of the late John S. “Jack” Bingeman (1967) and the late Howard Moule (2002).  Dearly loved mother of Janice Bingeman Brown (Dr. Alan G. Brown) of Southport, NC.  Cherished grandmother of Christopher Brown (Ruth Steele) of Concord, CA, Colin Brown of Wilmington, NC, and Heather Hill (Michael) of Sterling, VA.  She was proud of her great grandchildren, Connar, Jenna and Nathan Brown of Concord, CA.  Dear sister of the late Jean Cookson.  Special aunt of Kelly Cookson (Barb) of Port Stanley, and Harry Cookson (Marg) of St. Thomas, as well as several other nieces and nephews.  Also fondly remembered by Kathy Weldon, her sons, Tyler, Kevin, and Jeremy Moule, and their families, and by dear friend, Millie Wolfe.  Born in St. Thomas, July 7, 1924, she was the daughter of the late H.A. “Harry” and Rosetta (nee West) Shipp.  Ruth formerly worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Daniel R. Nolan.  She was a member of New Vision Community Church, United Church of Canada.  While Ruth was a member of Grace United Church, St. Thomas, she taught Sunday school for many years and was a member of the Rainbow Unit.  She was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star, being a member of Golden Acres Chapter #305, Shedden, and a former member of Central Star Chapter #57, St. Thomas. The funeral service will be held at the SIFTON FUNERAL HOME, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Tuesday, March 28th at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment in Elmdale Memorial Park.  Public visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.

Ralph Peter Weishar of Brucelea Haven, Walkerton, formerly of Teeswater and Culross Township, passed away with family by his side on Tuesday, March 21st, 2017, two days short of his 97th birthday.

Born in Carrick Township on March 23rd, 1920 to the late Andrew and Margaret (née Schumacher) Weishar.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Rose (née Reinhart) in 1989.

Father and father-in-law of Reg (deceased 1996) (Donna) of Teeswater, Andrew (Doris) of Gowanstown, Ted of Teeswater, Mary Lou Kretz of Listowel, Allan (MaryAnn) of Barrie, Anita Stothers (Ron) of Ayr, Ralph (deceased 2007) (Karen) of Stratford, Frank (Marlene) of Mildmay, Joe (Brenda) of Listowel, Merv (Brigitte) of Chatham, Dan (Liz) of Wroxeter, Jeanette (Paul) Wilke of Harrisburg Pennsylvania, Paul (Joanne) of Listowel, Karen Ruetz (Ed) of Hanover , Dave (Gail) of Teeswater, Gary (Joanne) of Bluevale, Steve of Durham, Ray (Cheryl) of Kitchener, and Darrel (Jan) of Teeswater.

Survived by 50 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Loved and cherished by her partner Stephen Moffatt. Loving mother of Rob(Colleen Pabst) of Wasaga Beach and Ron of Feversham, fondly remembered by Derek Moffatt(Jenna Mills) and Jeremy(Brooke) Moffatt of Stratford. Beloved grandma of Darian, Mitchell, Brett, Noah, Hannah, Shyanne, Brianna, Kaleb, Boden, Benjamin and Charlotte. Dear friend and sister of Nancy(Ted) Hopkins of Irish Lake, Jack(Vicki) Carson of Priceville, Christina Hooper of Hanover and Cindy(Brent) Hopkins of Durham. Ricki loved her sports, being a big Toronto fan; Blue Jays and the Maple Leafs, NASCAR and in her younger days an avid baseball player for the womens league in Durham. She thoroughly enjoyed crime scene investigation shows and Antique Road Show.

MILLS, Mrs. Phyllis (nee Grantham), a lifelong resident of St. Thomas, passed away at her residence, Caressant Care on Bonnie Place, St. Thomas on Thursday, March 16, 2017.  Beloved wife of the late Howard S. Mills (2014). Mother of the late Brian Mills (2015) (Heather of Williamsford), and the late Warren Mills (2010) (Cheryl of St. Thomas).  Phyllis was the sister of Ken Grantham (Bonnie) of St. Thomas, the late Vince Grantham (late Evelyn) and the late Eric Grantham (late Pam).  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Born in St. Thomas, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and May (nee Bassett) Grantham.  In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and her cremated remains will be interred privately in South Park Cemetery.  There will be no public visitation or service.  If so desired, memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice will be appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to the SIFTON FUNERAL HOME, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).

Remembering her life with joy, we sadly announce the death of our mother, Thelma, on March 13, 2017, at Grey Gables, Markdale, in her 95th year. Thelma was the beloved and loving wife of the late John C. (Jack) Graham. She leaves wonderful memories with her children, Bob of Kimberley, Brenda and Murray of Vandeleur, Allan and Marian of Chatsworth, and Norma and Chris of Mildmay. She is remembered with love by her grandsons Alex and Ian Graham-Heggie and their father, Stuart Heggie. Thelma is survived by two sisters, Eleanor Gileo and Joan Johnston, and her brother, Mervyn Ellis. She will be remembered fondly by her Kimberley friends and neighbours.

Muriel Jeanette Sewers (née Keith) of St. Marys and formerly of Barrie passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on Wednesday, March 8th, 2017 in her 82nd year.

Beloved wife of Mac Sewers of St. Marys.

Loving mother of Marlene Vanesse (Gerald) of Thamesville, Madelyn Moore (Robert) of Green Cove Springs, Florida, Golda Wilson (Richard) of St. Marys and Joyce Roberts (Scott) of Orange Park, Florida.

Sadly missed by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Survived by her brother, David Keith (Ellen) of Belmore, brother-in-law Austin Loree of Lucknow and sisters-in-law Margaret Keith of Goderich and Eleanor Keith of Markham.

Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Duncan and Mary (née Stobo) Keith, brothers Evan Keith, Mac Keith (Fern) and Bob Keith, sisters Marion Reid (John), Irene McAllister (Neil) and Mildred Loree.

Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., where the funeral service to celebrate Muriel’s life will be held on Monday, March 13th, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. with Cathy Sewers officiating.

Spring interment Culross-Teeswater Cemetery.

At his home, Grey Gables Nursing home, with his daughter by his side, Tom passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, March 3, 2017 of Markdale, formerly of Oakville, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Audrey(2007). Loving father of Karen(Fred) Robinson, David, Larry(Eleanor), Virginia, Alan, Edy(Larry Booth), Chuck(Lesley), Billy(Roseanne) and the late David. Loved and remembered by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Tom was predeceased by one grandson and one great grandson.
Tom was stationed in many locations including; Morocco, Germany and Borden, ON among other. He lived for his children, his jeopardy and crosswords. Tom always enjoyed a good laugh, being quite the jokester.
The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception, Flesherton on Saturday, March 11 from 1:00pm until the time of service at 2:00pm. Comrades of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 333 are called to gather for service at 12:45pm. Cremation has taken place. Interment at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Debbie Purcell – of Newton, passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital with her husband by her side on Tuesday February 21, 2017 at the age of 57. Debbie joins her mother Barbara Nafziger who predeceased her eight days ago on February 13th.  She was a thrift store enthusiast and enjoyed gardening and walking her dog.  Debbie loved the times she spent baking, cooking and talking on the telephone with her family.

Beloved wife of Doug Purcell whom she married in 1977.  Loving mother and grandmother of Cory and Melissa and their children Cheyenne, Trevor, Caroline and Caitlyn; Natashia and Mike Cassel and their children Makayla, Dakota and Brielle; Devin and Tessa and their children Jack, Ruby and Grace.  Dear sister of Connie Cassel (Steve), Frances Royal (Joe), Paul Nafziger (Jen), Calvin Nafziger (Heidi).  Cherished daughter of John and the late Barbara (Herrfort) (2017) Nafziger.  Fondly remembered by the extended Purcell family and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by her father-in-law Morris Purcell.

NAFZIGER, Barbara – of Newton passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener on Monday February 13, 2017 at the age of 78. Barb enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting and making crafts which she exhibited at numerous fall fairs.  She was a yard sale enthusiast and loved spending time playing games with her family.

Beloved wife of John Nafziger whom she married in 1959.  Loving mother of Connie Cassel (Steve), Debbie Purcell (Doug), Frances Royal (Joe), Paul (Jen), and Calvin (Heidi).  Special grandma of Shane, Dean (Erin), Cory (Melissa), Natashia (Mike), Devin (Tessa), Sabrina (James), Jordan (Melissa), Michael, Samantha (Matthew), Jessica, Rachel and great grandma of 14.  Remembered by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Marlene Herrfort, Bernice Herrfort, Edna Tigani, Robert Nafziger (Rose), Jake Nafziger (Sharon), Donald Nafziger, Bill Nafziger (Judy) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Barb was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her parents Henry and Frances (Zehr) Herrfort, sister Mildred Roes (David), and brothers William (in infancy), Sam, Allan and Melvin.

In keeping with Barb’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.  A private family graveside service will take place at Riverdale Mennonite Cemetery, Millbank.

Peacefully at her home in Priceville on Friday, February 10, 2017 in her 80th year. She is reunited with her beloved husband Alfred(2012). Loving mother of Wallace(Jo-Anne) of Tottenham, Paul(Marilyn) of Priceville, Bruce(Debbie) of Markdale, Janice(Ken Alderman) and Susan Odell all of Priceville. Loved and remembered by grandchildren Stephanie and David Odell, Laura(Bryan) Elford, Kristin(Brian) Schnurr, Jonathan and Brittany, Belinda (Clayton Shaw), Alicia(Curtis) Rodrigue and great-grandmother of Alex, Carson, Alfred, Audrey, Holden and one on the way. Lorene is survived by her sister Velda Hindle and many nieces and nephews.

Lorene had a true passion for her family and her farming; enjoying every moment with her children and grandchildren. Over the years she was ambitious with her catering and the booth at the Stothart Ball Diamond, her baseball but most of all music and dancing. While she hadn’t quilted in a few years, she was determined that she should get back to her horseback riding.

Lloyd Henry Wheeler, a resident of Pinecrest Manor in Lucknow and formerly of Teeswater and Bluevale, passed away at Pinecrest Manor on Tuesday, January 24th, 2017 at the age of 82.

Beloved husband of Patricia Gamble-Wheeler (née Mulcaster) of Teeswater and the late Isabel Wheeler (née Cameron) who predeceased him in May 1994.

Dear father of David Wheeler and his wife Maureen of Erinsville and Heather Montgomery and her husband Doug of Peterborough.

Missed by his grandchildren, Michela and Ashley Montgomery and Zack and Maddi Wheeler.

Peacefully on January 14th, 2017; Thomas George William Harlow of Chatsworth, formerly of Georgetown, passed away in his 66th year after a battling cancer.

Lovingly remembered by his children Adam Harlow of Vancouver BC and Annie Harlow and her husband Tyler Damen on Strathroy Ontario.

He is dearly missed by his beloved horses Beauty and Champ and dog Perro.

Tom is also remembered by his siblings Steve Harlow and Jack Harlow.

Predeceased by his parents Ray and Julie Harlow and brother David (Chipper) Harlow.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 28th from 1:00-2:00 pm at Jones Funeral Home in Georgetown with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:00p.m.

After a trying battle with Alzheimer’s Disease, Lynne passed peacefully at Grey Gables Nursing Home, Markdale on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in her 71st year. Beloved wife of Alan for 50 years. Loving mother of John(Yvonne) of Cambridge and Paul(Lori) of Kitchener. Loved and remembered by grandchildren Amy, Scott, Cameron and Mia. She will be greatly missed by her twin sister Suzanne(Alan) Humphrey of Ballantrae.  Predeceased by parents Frederick and Ruby Clark.

Lynne graduated Acadia University, majoring in Biology, in 1967 were she met the love of her life. Lynne loved the beaver valley for her gardening and skiing. An active member of the Markdale Horticultural Club.
