Mossip- Donald of St. Thomas passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Bonny (Vandebelt) (Kamps) Mossip and the late Margaret (Walls) Mossip. Loving father of Tim (Linda) Mossip  and Sharon (Paul) Kamphuis all of London and was predeceased by his son Stephen. Lovingly remembered by 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Dear brother of William (Maria) Mossip of Renfrew. Donald was born September 6, 1931 in Thorndale the son of the late  Fred and Wilma (Harding) Walls. He worked for Lumber Ontario Wholesale Woodstock. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #41, St. Thomas and was a former member of the Port Rowan Lions Club.

A Memorial service will be held at St. Mark’s United Church, 38 Aldborough Ave., St. Thomas  on   Saturday  at  1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas on Friday  from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Donations may be made to the Men’s Mission or the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation.

Waite, Dale Richard of Port Stanley, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 19th, 2013, at London, in his 32nd year. Dearly loved son of Richard “Rick” and Lisa (Smith) Waite. Loved father of Alexis and Averie. Dear brother of Tricia Waite and her husband Brian Holden of Guelph.  Sadly missed by a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Dale was born in St. Thomas on June 27th, 1981. He was a graduate of Parkside Collegiate Institute. Dale worked for MedTech, London.

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2013, after many lengthy illnesses at the age of 62 years.  Barry was born on January 16th, 1951 in Kentville, Nova Scotia. He was from a military family who lived all across Canada and Germany.  He will be sadly missed by his wife of 40 years, Marilyn (McHugh) ; children Shawn (Vanessa), Chris (Blair) and Theresa (Rob) Shepley; grandchildren Jarod, Maddie and Sydney; siblings Phyllis (Bob) Dundas, Shirley Humphries, Terry(Peggy), Bob (Chris) and Gene (Anne); inlaws Mary McHugh (mother-in-law), Aileen Lounsbury, Cecilia McHugh, Rosie McHugh, Maureen McHugh, Jim (Saskia) McHugh and Kathy (Dave) Murphy.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.  Barry is predeceased by his parents, Florrie and Lloyd Martin, brothers-in-law, Ralph Wilson Humphries, Willis Lounsbury and father-in-law, Fred McHugh.  Barry served on the Sandwich South and Tecumseh Fire Departments, retiring two years ago from the Tecumseh Fire Department as Deputy Chief.  His love and talent in music, woodworking, astronomy, art and mechanics will continue to grow through his children and grandchildren.  A very special thanks to all his health care providers from Windsor and Mississauga who provided such excellent care through many difficult situations.  Your kindness and compassion will always be remembered.  Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, (Banwell Chapel) 253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. Stanley0001Peacefully, Louise, in her 78th year, entered Heaven on Sunday May 19, 2013 at the Meaford Long Term Care Centre with her family at her side.  Louise, beloved wife of Jim Stanley for almost 60 years.  Loving mother of Paul (Barbara), Jimmy (Elma), David (Michelle), John (Barb), Daniel (Wendy) and Joseph (Wendy). Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. MAYER, Mathias – Passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2013 surrounded by family.  Mathias Mayer was born in Németbánya in Veszprém County, Hungary, April 26, 1927 and is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Maria (nee Trusits) Mayer, his sons Matthew Mayer Jr. and family, William and family, and George.  Mathias was predeceased by his father Andreas Mayer in 1956, by his mother Maria (nee Schmidt) Mayer in 1988 and by siblings Mary, Andreas, Agnes and Johann.  Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  Parish prayers at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 pm.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 904 Dundas Street, Woodstock on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 11:00 am.  Interment at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.  If desired, memorial donations to the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish Building Fund would be appreciated.  Smith-LeRoy, (519) 537-3611. Beloved husband of the late Irene Pearl Blore, nee Shelton (2010). Adored father of Lynda and the late Larry McDonald, Cathy and the late Bob Krueger, Jim and Gail Blore, Don and Cori Blore, Nicole Blore, Sandy and Terry Alyman, and Kelly Blore. Loved grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Russell is survived by his sister Betty Best and sisters-in-law Jen Blore and Jean Blore. Also remembered by his lifelong friend Victor Best and his wife Mary. Russell was a veteran of WWII, serving with the Royal Canadian Navy in the North Atlantic aboard HMCS Frontenac from 1943 – 1945. Cremation has taken place. At Strathroy Middlesex General hospital on Sunday, May 18th, 2013 in his 91st year. Glen Nelson Shea of Watford. Beloved Husband and best friend of Dorothy for 66 years. They were married on July 8th, 1947 and lived in Watford all their married lives. Glen`s parents were Robert and Mabel Shea of Plympton Township. Glen spent three years with the R.C.A.F. during war times. He returned to Watford and worked at the P.U.C. for 30 years. Glen is survived by 5 nieces and nephews; Bill (Joan) Shea of Forest, Beth (Murray) Karr of Lambeth, Anne (Chuck) St. Louis of Sarnia, Sheila (Marty) Banninga of Sarnia, Dave (Paula) Shea of Plympton and by Paul Wilkinson (predeceased). Glen was very appreciative of all the love and support from his nieces and nephews over the years. Visitation will be held at the WATFORD CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS on Tuesday, May 21st, 2013 from 6-8pm.
