It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edgar K. Conboy on Saturday, March 2, 2013 in his 77th year.  He will be forever missed by his daughters Elaine Claessen, Wendy Douglas and his son Robert.  Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Kathryn, Joe, Holly, AJ, Kristen & Cassie and great grandchildren Zack, Hailee, Nevaeh, Miah, Taylor and Rylee and their extended families.  Survived by his sisters Blanche and Pearl and his brother Bruce.  Predeceased by his sisters Mae, Susan, Louise and brothers Pat and Thomas Patterson, William, Howard and Carman Conboy.  He will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews.  A private family committal service will take place at a later date in Glenburnie.  As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario (U.K.H.F.) which can be placed directly or through the Paul G. Huff, Leatha Locina (formerly MacInroy, Nee Hoover) – peacefully at Westgate Lodge on Monday, February 25, 2013 in her 101st year.  Daughter of the late Herbert & Aughty Hoover.  Wife of the late Frank Huff and the late John MacInroy.  Loving mother of Beverly Adams of Stirling.  Cherished grandmother of Sandra Sanders, Sharon (James) Coe, Susan Adams and Steven Adams.  She is also remembered by 7 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  Leatha is predeceased by her sister, Lulu Reid and her brother, Stewart Hoover.

Munro-Ackerman, Mildred “Ileen” – peacefully at Quinte Gardens on Sunday, January 13th, 2013 in her 96th  year.   Daughter of the late Frederick and Claudus (nee Peterson ) Maines.  Beloved wife of the late Carl Ackerman (1997) and the late John Munro (1991).  Dearly loved mother of Rose (Eugene) Raymo of Northbrook and Ruby (David) Dulmage of Spencerville.  Cherished grandmother of Tammy, Julie (Andrew), David (Roslyn), Mark (Patti), Melanie (Craig) and step grandmother to Sarah (Adam), Holly (Andrew) and Charmaine.  Great grandmother of 15.  Dear sister of Mary June McCoy of Belleville.  Ileen is also remembered by John’s sisters, Bessie (Burton) White of Stirling and Flossie Brown of L‘Amable.  Dearly loved aunt of numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Friends are invited to call at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West (613-968-2273) on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m.  The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, January 16th, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. (with visitation 1 hour prior to the service).   Spring Interment at Bowerman-McFaul’s Cemetery.

BOOMHOWER: Gregory Todd of Belleville

Boomhower, Gregory Todd –suddenly at his residence on Friday, January 11th, 2013 in his 51st, year. Son of Ralph and Betty Boomhower.  Beloved husband of Kelly Brant. Dear father of Shannon (Jeff) Finch, Kristy Boomhower and predeceased by daughter Taylor Brant. Remembered by grandchildren, Rebecca and Aaron.  Also survived by his brother, Sean (Kim) Boomhower, nephew Zach, several other nieces and nephews, and by Kelly’s parents Betty and Larry Brant.

The family will receive friends at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West (613-968-2273) on Wednesday from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday January 16th, 2013 at 1.00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. A private inurnment of his ashes will follow at Belleville Cemetery.

STEVENSON: Roy M. of Kitchener and formerly of Belleville

Stevenson, Roy M. – went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, January 9th, 2013 at Forest Heights Long Term Care in Kitchener, Ontario.  Roy, a long time resident of Belleville was in his 88thyear. Beloved husband of Vivian (Welbourn), father of Kim Stevenson of Scarborough, and Shelley (Dan) Clow of Cambridge. Grandfather of Gabriella (Kevin) Gay of Ottawa, Jarrod of Waterloo and Nano of Vancouver. Roy is survived by his siblings; Verna Gazley of Scarborough, and Mary (Vernon) Cooper of Oshawa. He will be remembered by nieces, nephews and friends. Roy is predeceased by his parents; the late Milford and Ethel (Reid) Stevenson, brothers, Clarence and Harold Stevenson and sisters, Edna Dargan-Campbell and Hazel Kerr.

The family will receive friends at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West, Belleville (613 968-2273) on Sunday evening, January 13th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.  The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, January 14th at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 until the time of service.

Bailey:  Gloria Loraine (nee:  Lobb-Babcock)

Peacefully at St. Mary’s of the Lake on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s in her 67th year.  Loved mother of Reg Babcock, Keith Lobb & Rhonda Lobb.  Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Justin and Kaleb Booth, loving Nan to Anna, Tina and Laura.  Dear sister of Maybelle Hutchins, Barbara Batten and the late Carman and Ronnie Babcock.  The family will receive friends at the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, Main St., Odessa 613-386-7373 on Saturday January 12th from 2-4pm.  A private family interment will take place in the spring in Wilton Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society.

WBT 1Taylor, William Bruce – of Belleville and formerly of Madoc, passed away suddenly at his residence on Sunday, January 6th, 2013 in his 77th year.  Son of the late Frank and Myrtle (nee Wilson) Taylor.  Loving father of Jill (Gary) Couch of Belleville, Connie (Craig) Nobes of Stirling and Rhonda (Bill) Dundon of Kingston.  Grandfather of Pamela (Andrew) Gibson of Belleville, Amanda and Rebecca Nobes of Stirling and Taryn, Jenna and Abby Dundon all of Kingston, and great grandfather of Sophie and Ava Gibson.  William is also survived by his loving partner & friend Sandra Cruikshank of Bayside and by his brothers, Edward (Marion) Taylor of Lakefield, Allan (Marilyn) Taylor of Peterborough and Ralph “Curly” (Brenda) Taylor of Madoc. He will be remembered by several nieces and nephews.
