Peacefully surrounded by his family in London, on Sunday, June 17, 2018, Ethan Scott in his 16th year. Loving son of Robin “Nikki” (Gosnell) Scott (Shawn) and Chris Scott. Cherished brother of Madison and Morgan. Happy grandson of Joan and Allan Gosnell, Carolyn and Douglas Scott, great-grandson of Helen and Norman McEachran and Erlene Gosnell (the late Frank). Favourite nephew of Josh Gosnell and Mike Scott (Tanya), cousin Jessica and many other family members and friends. Will be sadly missed by furry companions Zeus and Lexi. Ethan was a happy, easy going, lovable ladies man who enjoyed hugs. Ethan enjoyed many activities including music, archery, sit skiing, horseback riding and most of all baseball. Thank you to everyone who contributed to Ethan’s life and helped him to reach his full potential. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the A. Obituary of VERSLYCKEN: Roanld Paul of Chatham

Ronald Paul Verslycken passed away on the afternoon of June 17th, 2018, in the company of his beloved cat ‘Mandy.’ He will be greatly missed by his devoted brother Gary Verslycken and Miriam McGrail-Verslycken.  Beloved uncle of Michael Verslycken of Chatham, Matthew Verslycken of Seoul, South Korea, and Laura  Verslycken of Basel, Switzerland. Great uncle to Yenna. Ronald is predeceased by his parents Wilfred Verslycken and Ruth Norrie (nee Gaynor), and brother Brian Verslycken.
Ron was well cared for by the Chatham-Kent ACT Team as well as Chatham-Kent Mental Health for the past 20 years, for which the family is forever grateful. Ron was a member of Praise Fellowship Church and an avid cycler, who enjoyed music and being welcomed at Tim Horton’s. 
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at DENNING’S OF CHATHAM (519-352-2390), 4 Victoria Avenue, on Thursday, June 21st, 2018 at 11am. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Interment to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham, at a later date. Donations in Ron’s memory may be made to The Mental Health Network of Chatham-Kent. Passed away peacefully, on June 11, 2018 at 42 years of age.  Beloved husband and best friend of Sarah.  Precious father of Hannah, Isabella and Nicholas.  Loving son of Peter and Dorthy Reaume.  Son in-law of Pat and Brian Swancott. Grandson of Helen Vanoff.  Dear brother of Renee (Bob) and Danielle (Amir).  Brother in-law of Tracey (Jim), Dave (Michelle) and Steve (Nathania). Sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and close friends. Passed away suddenly on June 12, 2018 surrounded by family at the age of 77. Loving husband of Marilyn for 55 years. Proud father of Clancy (Connie), Kim (Tim Reaume), and Dana. Papa of Christian Ferencz, Evan, and Alyssa Mulholland; Marley (Bradley Lucier-Belleperche), and AJ “Arthur” Reaume. Brother of the late Jimmy (the late Marilyn), the late Ron (Elsie), Mike, John, the late Pat (the late Ted Wilkins), Gerry, and Howard Lauzon. Cherished brother-in-law “No Show” to numerous members of the Chevalier family in Woodslee, Ontario. Dennis will be missed by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses of the 7th floor at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus for their exceptional care, kindness, and when needed patience. Passed peacefully on June 13, 2018 at the age of 86 with loving family by her side. Loving wife of Jim.  Beloved mother of the late Scott (1955), Debra and husband Tim Cooper, Randy McCall and David and wife Mary McCall.  Precious Grandma of Matthew (Alison), Steven (Colleen), Jessica (Billy) and Stephanie (Mark), Christopher and Keeley.  Loved Great-Grandma of Leah, Anthony, James, Arielle, Adalynn, Sophie, Zoe, Winston, Carter, Maddie, Liam, Alivia and Benjamin. Loved sister of the late Donald (husband of Marion McNaughton) Ronald (husband of Margaret McNaughton) Douglas (husband of Grace McNaughton) and Cecile McNaughton.  Several nieces and nephews also survive. Shirley was a devoted member of St. Paul’s United Church where she spent her Tuesdays with her quilting friends. Obituary of Foong, Wai-Choong

Peacefully on June 14, 2018, surrounded by his family, Choong went home to be with his Lord and Saviour.  Loving and caring husband of Soo-Kwan for 32 years.  Devoted and proud father of Yen, Ai-Leng, Emma and husband Jesse.  Dear son of Tang Weng Kee and the late Foong Kar Sek.  Also survived by his siblings Foong Wai Seng (Alice), Foong Lai Yee and Foong Lai Pik (Ang Chin Hong).  Choong earned his BSc and PhD in pharmacology at the University of Portsmouth, England.  Choong met Soo-Kwan in Portsmouth and they married in London in 1985.  Choong joined faculty at Dalhousie University, Halifax, in 1986, and moved to the University of Detroit Mercy in 2001. Choong was a passionate teacher for a generation of students.  Choong trusted in Christ as his Saviour in 2003.  He will be deeply missed by his group of Malaysian friends in Halifax, where the children will always know him as Uncle Choong.  His interests were cooking, camping at Kejimkujik National Park in Nova Scotia, hiking, and Star Trek.  After having a stem cell transplant in 2017, Choong’s desire was to raise awareness of the pressing need for stem cell donors. Obituary of HACK, Frank Adam

Passed away suddenly into the arms of the Lord on June 14, 2018 at the age of 55 years.  Beloved husband of Monica (nee Wolf) for almost 32 years.  Cherished father and best bud of Roxy.  Proud Opa of Ben.  Reunited with late parents George and Mary Hack and infant sister Mary.  Younger brother of George Hack (Jane), and John Hack (Cathy). Brother in law of Richard and Mary Anne Wolf, and Clarissa and Gino Menna.  Missed by many nieces and nephews.  Frank worked as a construction supervisor in Toronto on many projects that he was proud of.  He found his true passion when he retired, in “picking”, collecting and restoring watches, and creating art. He always put family and friends first.  He brightened every room he walked into with his laughter and joy.

We are sadden to say good bye to our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother in her 91st year. Reunited with her beloved husband Stanley (1989) whom she missed deeply. Much loved mother of her four children; Tom Adams (Elaine), Larry Adams, Karen Zakal (Gene), and Kathryn Moceri (Frank).  Loving and cherished grandmother of her 12 grandchildren; Tommy, Michelle, Danny, Anastasia, Billy, Daryl, Brett, Aaron, Amy, Nina, Teresa and Rocco. Proud great-grandma of 20 great grandchildren; Jocelyn, Matthew, Samantha, Jack, Charlie, Wilson, Elliot, Lucas, Ryan, Keira, Bethany, Andrew, Mia, Tia, Bruno, Gabriella, Madeline (2013), Remi, Luciano, and baby Francesco. Predeceased by her siblings Everest Faucher, Hilda Potvin, Norman Faucher and Joe Faucher. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Teresa loved to spend time outdoors, camping with her children and grandchildren. She looked forward to celebrating the holidays; baking apple pies, butter tarts and finishing the festivities with a euchre tournament.   She was a faithful Catholic.  Her faith gave her a positive outlook on life. Rich had a love of travel and was able to see many parts of the world through his construction company R.G. Hamm Construction. Obituary of FREEMAN, Jane Marie (nee White) of Leamington

Age 76, passed away peacefully on the morning of June 10, 2018, at Erie Shores Hospice. She was born February 3, 1942, to George and Utah White. In 1972, she married her best friend and love, Doug Freeman. Together, they created 37 years of adventures and memories, separated only by his death in 2010. Jane grew up a farm girl who understood the value of hard work, for herself and those around her. She was a voracious reader of historical romances and was a big fan of TMZ. Jane is survived by her daughter, Melanie, and brother, Richard White. Predeceased by her sister-in-law Suzanne White (2004). She will be missed by and held in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews. It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Goran surrounded by his family. on June 8, 2018 at 68 years of age. Passed away suddenly at home on June 6, 2018 at the age of 64. Loving husband and best friend to Jackie for 45 years. Dearest dad to twins Shawn (Steph) and Krissy (Kristopher). Cherished grandpa to William & Hanna. Beloved son to Allan & the late Shirley (2005). He will be sadly missed by his brothers, Dan (Sue), and Jim (Richard). Son-in-law of the late Ches (2013) & Ruby (2016) Perry, HR Grace, NL, and brother-in-law to Nick (Judie) Perry of Winnipeg, MB; Jean (Terry) Whelan of Mt. Pearl, NL; Lil (late Bruce) Gibbons of Kemptville, ON; and Rachelle (Larry) O’Shea of HR Grace, NL. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Best buddy to Doug.
David was an owner operator of Vets Cab for over 20 years. He was an avid lover of rock & roll, especially the Stones – a trait he passed down to Shawn.
Grandson William will miss his Pokémon partner and granddaughter Hanna will miss being called his beautiful princess. They are sending lots of love and kisses to grandpa.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the first responders, as well as Dr. Wallace Liang, Dr. Chao, and Dr. Cassidy for their care and compassion.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.

Betty was born February 18th, 1964 and joined our Heavenly Father on June 6th, 2018. Betty fought a good fight after a valiant battle with cancer. Cherished daughter of Mijo and Katica Mihalic (nee Vlasic). Loving mother of Deanna (Milan) Sarapa and grandmother to Mileja Sarapa. Beloved sister of Linda (James) Laurie of Glenview, IL and aunt to Reese and Gavin Laurie. Betty will be sadly missed by family in Croatia. Our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to Dr. Schneider and staff at the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre. Also, many thanks to the compassionate nurses and staff at W.R.H., Met.
