Anyone who knew Ross will also remember his quick wit and love of a good joke. He would seldom let someone get away without leaving them with a story. Ross and Irene raised their family in Crediton where they lived for more than fifty years, before moving to Towerview Apartments in Exeter. ValcourtWPeacefully, at home, while watching “Sons of Anarchy”.  “Val” was a fireball, especially with her bright red hair.  Full of confidence and chutzpah, she made a big impression on everyone she met (not necessarily always a good one!).  She had her opinions and would happily share them.  Intelligent, extremely well read, stubborn and the best mother in the universe.  She was deeply loved by her children, grand children and great grandchildren (although the new one is only 3 months old, we know she will be connected with him forever).  Sleep funny lady, your journey was long, exciting, and sometimes very difficult, but you always faced everything head on and made it work.  Go be with our other loved ones and “dance again in the sunlit pools”.  Enormous thanks to CCAC and the incredible Palliative Care Team at St. Elizabeth’s.  A particular shout out to Nicole, Mom adored you.  You all made our lives so much easier these past few weeks.  At Val’s request there will be cremation without services.   Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
