Noels, Gord-W300At LHSC-University Hospital on Monday, April 25, 2016, of London and formerly of Grand Bend.  Beloved husband of Christine (Glen) and the late Connie Noels (2006).  Dear father of Brent Noels (Bernice) of Port Stanley, Craig Noels (Naoko) of Vancouver, Shauna Ewart (Jade), Erin Glen (Paul), Karna Glen (Mark), and Robyn Glen (Joey) all of London.  Dear grandfather of Amber, Jenna, Zack, Brice and Claire.  Dear brother and brother-in-lawof Mona and Peter deRyk of London, and Donald and Helen Noels of Kingsville.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his daughter Erin, and sister Dora Burks.

Cremation has taken place.

Friends may gather at the Lucan Community Memorial Centre, 263 Main Street, Lucan on Thursday, April 28th at 1 PM for a celebration of life service that will begin at 1:30 PM.  An opportunity to share stories with the family will follow immediately.

Greenwood – Lilian (Bebbington) of Extendicare Home, London and formerly of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully at her late residence on Monday, April 25th, 2016, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Brigadier Victor Greenwood and dearly loved mother of Major Brian and his wife Jill Greenwood of Ottawa and the late Kenneth Victor Greenwood. Cherished grandmother of Ashley, Erin and Amy. Dear sister-in-law of Olive Bebbington and Jack (Carolyn) Greenwood. Lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Lilian was born in St. Thomas on January 31, 1921, the daughter of the late John and Emma Bebbington. Lilian and her husband Vic were very active volunteers in the St. Thomas community.  In 1980, she and her husband became the founding co-ordinators of the St. Thomas Christmas Care program. She was also actively involved in the St. Thomas Kiwanis Club.

Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, St. Thomas where visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Beloved wife of the late C. John MacGillivary and dearly loved mother of Mary Margaret MacGillivary of St. Thomas, Lindsay MacGillivary of St. Thomas, Scott MacGillivary of St. Thomas, John (Kim) MacGillivary of Edmonton, Dan (Deb) MacGillivary of St. Thomas and Charlene MacGillivary of London. Cherished grandma of Mandy (Curt) Beer, Chris MacGillivary, Marissa MacGillivary, Derek MacGillivary, Brett MacGillivary, Corey MacGillivary, Ryan (Olga) MacGillivary and Shawn MacGillivary and great-grandma to Alexander and Amelia. Dear sister of Tom (Myrna) Doyle. Lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her father, Leonard Doyle; mother, Mary Doyle; sister, Theresa LeFrank; brothers, Richard Doyle, Jim Doyle, Jerry Doyle and Bob Doyle. Mary was born in Galt, ON on April 4th, 1937, daughter of Leonard and Mary Doyle. She married C. John MacGillivary in 1957. They moved to St. Thomas where they raised their six children. She had no other pursuits but to be a good mother and loving wife and she gave herself over to this pursuit with everything she had.

A Memorial Mass will be recited at St. Anne’s Church on Friday morning at 10:00am. Cremation has taken place. A reception will be held following the service at the St. Anne’s Community Centre.Visitation will be held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas on Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Community Living Elgin. Haddow (1) (217x275)Haddow – It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dennis Douglas Haddow announce his passing peacefully at his late residence Caressant Care on Bonnie Place, Friday, April 22, 2016, in his 93rd year. He was the last of his family. Dearly loved father of Richard (Helen) Haddow and Lynn Kennedy. Cherished grandpa of Sharon (Mark) Gliszczynski, Michael (Erin), Matthew (Laura), Laura (Darryl) and Great grandpa of Logan, Hannah, Emily, Samantha, Catherine, Mackenzie and Lauren. Dennis was predeceased by his wife Joyce (1979), son-in-law Roy (1999) and granddaughter Jennifer (2005). Dear brother-in-law of Winifred Heeds in England and uncle of John and Raymond in England.  Dennis was born in Lnodon, England on April 2, 1924. Dennis will fondly be remembered by his friends at Eaton Yale and Timken’s. He was a member of the Pinafore Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Dennis will be fondly remembered for his quick wit and sense of humour as the owner of Chicken Delight on Talbot St., St. Thomas and by his friends at Eaton Yale and Timken.

She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

On April 22, 2016 Henry DeBolster passed on to meet his LORD and Saviour while surrounded by family at Hamilton General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Jacoba DeBolster, and loving father of Geri and Marty VanEngen, Bert and Jane DeBolster, Nel Straatsma, Len and Elaine DeBolster, and Joanne and Jim Teeuwsen. He was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by the Redeemer University College, Christian Reformed Church, and Evergreen Terrace communities. Rev. Dr. DeBolster was a faithful servant of the LORD in ministry and the founding President of Redeemer University College, Ancaster, Ontario. Connie was a lifetime Cobourg resident born on March 25, 1935 to Irene and Lawrence Nelson. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years John Webster, her brothers Cecil Nelson and Marvin Nelson, sister Connie Harlow and sister in law Linda Nelson. Connie is survived by her sons Michael and David (Cheri) and her grandchildren Noah, Sarah and Sophia. Connie will be greatly missed by her many friends, nieces and nephews. In the final years of her life Connie was in the loving care of the staff at Extendicare Cobourg and Extendicare Port Hope. KAIGAS: Arthur Juri George of Huntsville, Ontario

images-4With much sadness we announce that George passed away unexpectedly, but
peacefully in his sleep, on April 11th, 2016 at the age of 63.
Predeceased by his parents Astrid and Artur, he is survived by his sister Tiina (Peter), nieces Kristina, Susanna (Alex) and Kate, great-niece Isla and great-
nephew Peter.
George was a gentle, kind brother and uncle who loved family gatherings and
holidays. He enjoyed good food and was always ready for a debate on current
political issues. His enormous respect for nature was a defining characteristic. He was at his happiest sitting by the lake in Muskoka and taking in the natural beauty around him.
At his request, there will be no formal service. Cremation has taken place. His ashes will be scattered by the lake at the family cottage and also placed at York Cemetery in Toronto beside his parents. In his memory, a tree with a plaque bearing his name will be planted as part of the Muskoka Memorial Forest Program later this summer.
George will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Donations in his memory to the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) or World Wildlife Fund of Canada would
be appreciated.

CORMIER: Ronald Joseph of Markham Formerly of Toronto, Moncton

images-4CORMIER, Ronald Joseph, 61, of Markham, passed away at the Toronto General Hospital on Thursday, March 31st, 2016. Ron was predeceased by his loving wife Yolande in 2001 and his sister Georgette in 1990. He is survived by son and son-in-law Marc and Gregory, daughter-in-law Rebecca and sister Juliette. Loving uncle to his nephew and niece Andrew and Claire, he will be missed, but never forgotten. His kind and spirited demeanor, as well as his love of life, made him a friend to many. He will be remembered for his warm and vibrant personality and his great sense of humor. Private family arrangements have been made. A special gathering to commemorate Ron’s life for his friends and family, took place yesterday. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

VOISARD (BONDY): Carol Lynn of Nelson BC Formerly of Windsor, Leamington, Ontario

images-4As a family we are grieving the loss of our dear daughter and sister Carol Voisard nee Bondy.

Carol left us on March 25, Good Friday morning. She resided in Nelson, BC and was born and raised in Windsor, where she attended Oakwood Public School and Vincent Massey S. S.

Carol was predeceased by her father Earl Bondy.

She was the beloved daughter of Elsie (Bondy) Mulholland, step daughter to Ron Mulholland and sister to Barbara (Bondy) Greason and her husband Dave.

Carol left behind her three children, Aaron Faith Klinksiek Voisard, Corey James Voisard and Angela Lee (Voisard) West and her husband Maurice. Her children never left her side for the seven months as she battled cancer. She never gave up hope.

Also left behind are her beautiful loving grandchildren, Jaide, Gaige, Darian, Gabriel and Cameron, and nephews David Greason and wife Sherry and Brent Greason and his wife Michelle.

Carol was an employee of Jubilee Hospital in Nelson for 12 years, working with the aged.

We want to thank her best friend and RN Paula Nelson who worked with Carol and later cared for her. Paula and Carol loved working with their craft of mosaic with stain glass and ceramics. She loved her craft.

A Gathering is being held in on Saturday April 23rd at 10:30 am at the Taghum Community Hall in Nelson BC with a Celebration of Life following at 11:30.

In Windsor a small private gathering will take place Saturday May 7th, 11:30-2:30 at Village of St. Clair. 1800 Talbot Rd.
