Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital surrounded by her family on Monday, April 22, 2013 at age 61. Pat is survived by her beloved wife Brenda Ferguson, mother Patricia Galbraith and brothers and sisters Richard Lauzon (Sharla), Sharyn Dunn (Gary), Carol Ann Jack (Glen), Rob Lauzon and Diane Jacobson (Harry). She is also lovingly remembered by her “sons” Dave, Craig and Ryan Fendley , Brenda’s daughters Melany Ferguson (Chris), Gretta Ferguson (Adam), Sarah Ferguson (Mark), grandsons Nicholas and Ethan and her many nieces, nephews and their families. Pat’s warm, caring smile will be greatly missed by Dani Clarke and Sue Retallick as well as her many other friends. Her family wish to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of St. Elizabeth Health Care, Dr. Moorsom and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Northumberland Hills Hospital for their compassion and support throughout Pat’s illness. Beloved husband of the late Grace Dawson (Bannister). Loving father of Judy (Jim) Knox of Camlachie. Cherished grandfather of Brad Knox (Lisa Sillanpaa) of Cambridge and Christine (Mike) Riley of Sarnia. Treasured great-grandfather of Brock, Justyn, Ethan, Travis, and Conner Sillanpaa-Knox and Alyssa Riley. Dear brother of Annie Stoner, Irma Bannister and Dora (Bruno) Kaija, all of Sarnia. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Dora Dawson; brothers-in-law Wayne Stoner, Lorne Bannister and Jack Bannister; nephew Ralph Bannister; and grand nephew Stuart Bannister. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Harry left home for Naval training in Halifax at the age of 17 and served in the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII. Also, he was in the Naval Reserve at H.M.C.S. Prevost, London and H.M.C.S. Hunter, Windsor, where he continued his Naval training each summer for several weeks, either in Halifax or Victoria. Harry retired from Imperial Oil after 40 years specializing in instrumentation and computers. He was a member of the ISA (International Society of Automation), Sarnia Section. He was an avid sailor and loved curling at the Forest Curling Club.

Family and friends will be received from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2013, at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, with the funeral service to commence immediately after visitation at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Brintnell, Ruth Lillian – on Saturday, April 13, 2013 in her 92 year.  Daughter of the late Charles and Lillie Brintnell formerly of Plainfield.  Ruth is survived by her brothers, Harold Brintnell of Madoc and Joseph (Barbara) Brintnell of Ottawa. She is predeceased by her sisters-in-law, Ruby and Kathleen Brintnell.  Ruth is fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews; Leigh Brintnell of Madoc, Lesley Ann (Gene) McCambridge of Barry’s Bay, Larry (Karen) Brintnell of Batawa, Susan (Vince) Palermo of Port Perry, Vince (Karen) Brintnell of Stirling and great nieces and nephews; Charlie, Tom, Kiara, Justin, Kari, Leigh, Eric, Tara-Kay, Amelia and Logan. Ruth retired from teaching at Albert College in 1976 after nearly 20 years of service. She then took her skills to the Belleville Corby Library, Reference Department until 1987 where she also ran the Visiting Library for Shut-ins.  She was a longtime volunteer with St. John Ambulance and in 1976 was invested to the Order of St. John as Serving Sister with a lifetime rank as Officer Sister. 

A Memorial Service celebrating Ruth’s life will be held at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West (613-968-2273) on Saturday, May 4th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 11:30 until the time of service.  Inurnment at Foxboro Cemetery.

Beloved husband of the late Lorraine (Besterd) Reid (2012). Loving father of Linda Reid (Joe Holborn) of Harriston; Donna Summerton (Don) of Strathroy; Kathy Mclean (Michael) of Perth; Barbara Chasteen (Dave) of Dayton, Ohio; and Ruthann Roper (Dave) of St. Thomas. Westley was born in St. Thomas on January 1, 1951, the son of the late Jack and Marion Merritt. He was a former member of the Jumbo City Optimist Club and the Golden Acres and was a bowler with Special Olympics.

Scott was born August 27, 1967 in Tillsonburg. He formerly worked as a safety supervisor with Magna.

Daughter of the late Charles and Mabel Bailey (nee Holmes).  Wife of the late Reginald F. Scott.  Mother of Larry, Cordova; Ron (Linda), Calgary and Lois (Rob) Bastedo, Stirling.  Grandmother of Michelle and Tanya Scott, Ryan and Lisa Scott, and Kevin and Kim Bastedo.  Predeceased by her brothers Carman and Gerald Bailey, sister-in-law Helen Bailey and brother-in-law Doug Scott.  She is survived by her sisters-in-law Edith Bailey and Doris (Alan) Baxter. 

The family will receive friends at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West (613-968-2273) on Monday, April 29th, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 p.m.  Interment Belleville Cemetery.

Passed away peacefully in Sudbury on Friday, April 19th, 2013 at the age of 93 years.  Wife of the late Roland Levesque.  Daughter of the late Maxime and the late Albertine (née Côté) Séguin.  Beloved mother of Liliane Charbonneau (Don) of Sudbury, André Levesque (Diane) of Gatineau, Diane Whitby (James Noble) of Peterborough and Monique Levesque of Guelph.  Predeceased by her son Marc Levesque (Carmen) of Manitoba.  Dear sister of Aurore and Rita.  Predeceased by her brothers Edouard, Fernand and by her sister Laura.  Sadly missed by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  Thérèse was a very dedicated volunteer in her community. She will be remembered as a devoted mother and a gentle person with a kind soul. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m.  A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury.

Peacefully on April 24, 2013 at the age of 86. Loving husband of Jean for 61 years. Dear father of Gord and wife Shari, Larry and wife Joan and the late William (2008) and his late wife Sherry (2004). Predeceased by his brothers Bruce (2004), Bert (2001), and his sister-in-law Evelyn (2008). Brother-in-law of Agnes, Doris Parr, Al and Marion Parr, Nora and Dick Taylor, Cecil and Marlene Parr. Predeceased by his brothers-in-law George Parr, Gord Parr, Mervin Parr and his sisters-in-law Millie and Helga. Cherished grandfather of Chad, Chelsea, Chris and wife Jennifer, Kate and Shawn. Murray will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, his lifelong friends Bob and Mary-Lou Stearns and his breakfast buddy, the late Noel Berthiaume (2013). Born in Windsor, daughter of the late John and Wilma Everingham. Beloved wife of the late Ellis Holland (2008). Dear mother of Charisse Holland, Laurine Holland, Cory Holland, E.J. Holland, and Shawn Holland, all of Chatham and predeceased by her son Danny Everingham. Also survived by numerous grandchildren.
