He has left behind his loving wife, Whitney Young and his two adoring daughters, Jillian and Leanna. His love for his family, friends, and life in general was second to none. He will remain in our hearts now and always.

Commissioned as a Salvation Army Officer and served in various appointments in Ontario and Quebec.  Bessie and Melvin were married in 1953 and ministered together in Manitoba and Ontario. Gayle was a longtime Point Edward resident and was involved with the NCHA with her family, was an active member of the Point Edward Girl Guides and she enjoyed fishing with Dale and their dog Sandy. Scerri, Michael Lawrence – peacefully at Hastings Manor on Monday, September 21, 2015 in his 96th year. Born in Malta in 1920, the third child of the late Joseph and Victoria Scerri. Beloved husband of the late Rita Scerri. Loving father of Mary (Ronald) Morgan, Ed (Suzanne) Scerri both of Belleville and the late Lillian Scerri. Proud Nunnu of Michael Morgan of Melrose, Laurie Morgan of Kingston, Erika (Thomas) Whattam and Michelle (Elliot) Embury, both of Belleville. Great Nunnu of Brandon, Nichole and Austin Morgan, Elida, Hattie, Isla and Oliver Embury and Olin and Emmit Whattam. Michael is survived by his brother Victor Scerri of Malta. He is predeceased by one sister and by 5 brothers. He is fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West (613-968-2273) on Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.

Interment to follow at St. James Cemetery.

Joudrey, Evelyn (nee Fuller)

1934-2015

Evelyn Joudrey born on December 8, 1934 in Dorset Ontario, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2015. Predeceased by her husband Raymond and her parents Laura and Joseph.
Evelyn will be greatly missed by her children; Bonnie Joey and Shane Joudrey. Cherished grandmother of Shelly, George, Aaron, Jennifer, Amanda and Raymond. Her great-grandchildren Matthew and Leah.

Evelyn was greatly loved by many. In her departing she will be missed.
