Passed away peacefully with family by her side on January 14, 2014 at 84 years of age. Dear wife of the late Maurice Ouellette (1964). Daughter of the late Dennis and Bernadette Girard. Loving mother of Paul and wife Roz, Leo and wife Barb, Marie and husband Mark Morand, Louis and wife Donna, Susan Currie, John and wife Tammy. Cherished mom to Tommy Zebic, Grace and husband Rob Garant, David McMillan and her special angel, the late David Owcher. Treasured grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Dearest sister of Madeleine (late Herbert), late Lawrence (Agnes), Gord (Dolly), and Jean (Gatean). Also survived by many brother and sisters-laws as well as nieces and nephews.  Julia fostered 186 children for over 40 years with the Children’s Aid Society. 88 years young and a fine son of Woodslee and PleasantPark. Proud and loving father of 11 children, and grandfather to 16. Devoted and loving husband to Jean Catherine (nee, Crowley predeceased July 13th, 1989). Louis passed peacefully and quietly on Wednesday, January  15th, 2014.  Besides the love for his family, Louis had two other passions in life, tending to his fields as well as cultivating his business. Louis was born in Woodslee and never strayed too far off of the old 98 highway, moving down the road to Pleasant Park.  Pappy was a tiller of the soil, a farmer, a contractor and a local businessman. He is now with Jeannie and will be missed by his children Paul(Pam Gignac), Tim(Cindy), Mike(Susan), Terry(Elaine), Frank, Dr. Mary-Lou Byrne(Alain Pinard), Thomas(Liuda Reeb), Susan(Greg Ebbinghaus), Maureen, Karla(Ron Comartin) and Cathy Byrne(Darren Worrall). Predeceased by siblings Jim, Gerald, Edward, Julie, Dan and Bertha. Survived by brother Patrick and sister Charlotte Stevens. Maria will be deeply missed but always remembered by her children, Vincenzo (Zola) Sergi, Vittoria Langman & Rocco (Margaret) Sergi and by her grandchildren, Antonio, Cody (Megan), Matteo, Luca, Sarah, Marco & Julia and great grandson, Wesley.

At University Hospital, London, on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, PAUL WILLIAM ZILLER, age 76 of Sarnia passed away. He was the loving husband and best friend of the late Jean “Diane” Ziller (2008) and dear father of Mark Ziller and his wife Jennifer of Cobalt, Bret Ziller and his wife Bonnie and Paula Currie and her husband Jeff of Sarnia. Special companion of Arlene Shoemaker of Nashville TN. Granpa of Catherine, Derek and Kimberly Ziller and Jake and Kelly Currie, brother of Richard Ziller and his wife Marilyn of Brighton. He was predeceased by his parents George and Shirley. Paul was a Maintenance Superintendant at Dow Chemical and had retired after33 years of service. He was a longtime active member and Past President of the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club. Funeral services will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday January 21st at 11:00 a.m. with cremation to follow. Chosen daughter of the late Ross and Verna Heron. Loved by her daughter Sherry Allen-Gray (husband Gerald Gray) and grandchildren Elisabeth, Tyler and Brooke (children of Colin Woods) and by her daughter Sandy Frankland (husband Tyler Frankland) and twin grandsons Logan and Callan. Dearly remembered by her only sister Gayle Brown. Darlene was looking forward to the soon arrival of her first great grandchild whom Elisabeth has already named Hayven. web_taylor michaelBorn October 27th, 1944 in Highams Park, North East London.  After a hard fought and courageous battle with Cancer, Michael passed away peacefully with his loving wife and family by his side on January 14, 2014, at the age of 69. Best friend and beloved husband to Shelley (Grass). Predeceased  by his parents Charles and Florra.  Adored father to Rodney (Monica), Piers (Felicia), Erika (Tom), Sarah (Jamie), Ryan (Rebecca), Kelly (Greg), Sean and Mila (Darren). Loving and cherished Grampa to Rylee,  Dawson, Jacob, Liam, Mia, Charlee, Jaxon, Nash and  Addie. Loved brother to Jan, and brother in law to Heather (Dominique). He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.  His precious dogs, Maggie and Molly will miss him forever.  Words cannot begin to express the heartfelt thanks that goes out to those who were there for Michael and our Family. We would like to thank the 8th Floor Staff at Hotel Dieu, the Oncology Nurses at Met Campus, with a special thank you to Nurse Caroline, and the Staff at four west Met Campus for all their  love , care and  kindness. FENTON, John of Chesley

Fenton, JohnWilliam “John” Fenton of Chesley, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in his 93rd year.

 

John was predeceased by his beloved wife Mildred, brothers Angus and Wilson, sisters Catherine and Margaret and his parents James and Janet (McFadden) Fenton. He will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families as well as his neighbours on Tower Rd.

 

Visitation will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Friday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. where a funeral service celebrating John’s life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 1 p.m. Spring interment in Chesley Cemetery.

 

Memorial donations to Crawford United Church or Chesley Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expression of sympathy.
