RENAUD, Daniel Robert

Posted by on August 10, 2015

WEB_Renaud_DanielDan Renaud, 41, died on Saturday, August 8, 2015. Loving son of Donald and Jeanne Renaud, grandson of Lillian Thibert, longtime partner in crime of Mary Beth Renaud (Crawford) and father of 2 beautiful daughters, Lilly and Rose. Predeceased by his son Riley (2009), Pepé Noel Thibert, Pepé Ernest and Memé Angela Renaud. Dan will also be missed tremendously by his siblings Paul Renaud (Sheri), Marc Renaud (Kim) and Josette Katkic (Rudy). Dan was a loving Uncle to William, Adam, Alexander, Nevin and Danica. Also heartbroken are his Godparents Robert and Debbie Thibert, many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends that are just too numerous to list. Dan had a knack for getting any job he wanted and excelling in everything he tried. Over the years Dan acquired amazing skills in building and design and freely shared his talents with family and friends. Home Depot is fully expecting a drop in profits in the next quarter. Dan also loved music and it was a rarity to see him without headphones. Saddened that he was too young to become a true “Dead Head,” he had aspirations to one day become a “Phish Head.” Dan always ran with the same band of yahoos. As a founding member of the Philosopher’s Patio, he will be forever remembered for his unsportsmanlike behaviour during poker and his distaste for terrible grammar, smoking and open mouthed chewing. He forged a trail with his quick wit and sarcasm and left everyone with memories of his laughter and happiness that will not be forgotten. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lilly and Rose’s Education Fund would be appreciated by the family. Memorial visiting Thursday from 3 – 5 p.m. and 6:30 – 9 p.m. at Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd. East Windsor, 519-969-5841. And the biggest thank you to all the staff that helped Dan at Windsor Regional Hospital and the Trillium Gift of Life.
