Elaine was an employee of the former Dominion Forge after many years of dedicated service. She was a devoted member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral and its Ladies Organization. Elaine dedicated her time to making perogies, writing Easter eggs, doing crossword puzzles and enjoying scratchies. Beloved wife of the late William Stanley (July 3, 2007). B3 Evelyn Nichols 400NICHOLS, Evelyn Muriel (née Sayers) February 7, 1924 – September 25, 2015  At Meadowview Villa Petrolia, a wonderful life ended on Friday, September 25, 2015 when Evelyn Nichols died peacefully, age 91, with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Malcolm V. Nichols for 66 years, dear mother to Brian Nichols, loving mother and mother-in-law of Paula Raychert and her husband Ken, and adored grandmother to Kristin and Kaitlin Raychert, all of Alberta. Born in Warwick Twp, Evelyn was the daughter of Wallace J Sayers and Clara M. (Ripley) Sayers. She is survived by her sisters Yvonne Fraser (Norman) and Eileen Baggs (Doug), brother Ronald Sayers and several remarkable nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Pauline Mondoux, Marie Sutton, Frances Showers, Carrie Mae Sayers and brothers Walter Sayers and Raymond Sayers. Evelyn was a lifelong resident of Sarnia, working for Bell Telephone, Manley’s and Lambton College. She was blessed with many dear and faithful friends both here and abroad. Her love of life took her around the world; she enjoyed a long companionship with her sorority sisters at Beta Sigma Phi, St. Giles Presbyterian Church and other associations. The family is very grateful for the care and compassion shown by Dr. Susan Mather and the outstanding team of nurses, caregivers and staff at Meadowview Villa, and, all personal care workers from Bayshore Home Health in recent years. GreenIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our loving spouse, father and grandfather, ARTHUR WILLIAM GREEN, surrounded by his loving family and best friend “Sam” at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Saturday September 26, 2015 at the age of 88. Art will be forever loved, remembered and cherished by his loving partner of 41 years Carol Prince. Cherished father of Sharon (John) Lewis (Corunna), Jeannie (Lee) Callister (Windsor), Jimmy (Stephanie) Green (Sarnia), Pamela (Eamonn) Devine (Sarnia) and Angela (Jeff) Norland (Sarnia). He was the devoted grandfather of Susan, David, Sheri, Paul, Mike, Lori, Sarah, Jennifer, James, Jeremy, Amberlynn, Nicholas, Christina and Ashley and 19 great-grandchildren and will be remembered by many brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Hilda Green, wife Betty Green, daughter Patty Graham, brothers Frank, Robert, John, Wilf, Herb and sister Gladys. Art was a lifelong resident of Sarnia and Point Edward. He was a member of the Point Edward Ex-Servicemen’s Club, Sarnia Golf and Curling Club, Sarnia Traffic Club and Past Board member of the Chippewa Industrial Development. He sailed as a young man in the Merchant Marine Navy. He worked for Seaway Forwarding Agency at the Sarnia Gov’t Dock for 27 years before starting Harbour Warehousing Company Limited in 1974 which he still operated. He lived life to the fullest and enjoying boating, golfing, travelling and wintering in Florida. Art will be truly missed by all. Resting at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 102 N. Victoria Street, Sarnia where services will be held on Saturday October 3rd at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. In loving memory of our dear Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother Clara May Head. Clara, passed away September 21, 2015 in Barrie, Ontario at the age of 87 years.

Clara May Head was born in Calgary, Alberta to Harry and Ellen Ramsden. She is survived by her proud daughter Julie of Barrie, Ontario; Sons Denny and Gregory of Calgary, Alberta; Grandsons Michael and Christopher of Ontario; Granddaughters Vanessa and Lindsay of Calgary, and 11 loving great grandchildren.

May was predeceased by her beloved husband Donald Head (2012); Sister June Cheesman; Brother James Ramsden, and brother-in-law William Cheesman.

scan0023Betty Ann Zagorodny of Walkerton passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine on Sunday, September 27th, 2015 at the age of 71.

Loving mother of Debbie Benninger of Walkerton, Mike Mawhinney (Virginia) of Walkerton, John Mawhinney (Dawn) of Kincardine, Dave Zagorodny (Kristy) of Mildmay and Bill McAllister (Michelle) of Auburn.

Sadly missed by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Dear sister of Janet Demerling of Walkerton, Linda Rasmussen of Coalhurst, Alberta, Dorrie Kennedy (Rod) of Kincardine, Audrey Kaufman (Ron) of Mildmay and Jackie Johnson of Goderich.

Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents John and Alice (Alderton) Johnson, brothers Jim Johnson and Wayne Johnson and nephew Lucas Johnson.

A graveside service to celebrate Betty Ann’s life will take place at Culross-Teeswater Cemetery on Friday, October 2nd, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.

With very broken hearts Mike & Connie Sauvé announce the passing of their sweet princess Keira. She went very peacefully with Mom and Dad by her side on Sunday September 27, 2015. She will be forever missed by her siblings Ethan and Lacey. Grandparents Charlie & Barb Cowell and Norm & Cathy Sauvé will always cherish the precious times they had with her. Fond memories will be kept close to the hearts of Uncle Steve, Aunt Kelly, Katelyn, Logan, Aunt Tara, Uncle Jay, Lucas, Lincoln, Uncle Charlie, Aunt Jen and Ryder.

Keira was an amazing little girl, who in her way too short of a lifetime touched many people with her beautiful smile and sparkly blue eyes. Keira loved camping, and having her Prangley Pals always made our camping trips perfect. She will always be the shiniest star in the sky. So many friends and family will miss her beautiful smile and infectious giggle. She is at comfort and peace now with no more challenges.

Friends and family are invited to the Blenheim Community Funeral Home on Wednesday for visitation from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Keira will be held in Glad Tidings Community Church on Thursday October 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Eric Skillings officiating.
