Maisie gave the world 92 wonderful years. She was a professional ballet dancer in Hollywood during her younger years before the War, but gave up her career to marry her childhood sweetheart Henry (Hap) Hind (2003). Maisie was a loving and wonderful mother to Duncan Hind (Sharon), Janet Zimmerman (2009) (Greig), Harry Hind (good friend Laurie). Maisie was cherished by her grandchildren Shannon Hind and Rich Moy, Ian Hind, Shawn McKenzie (Lise) and great grandchildren Rowan and Keaton. Gramma also to Jaime Zimmerman, Meighen, Mel MacLellan and little James. She is also survived by her brother in-law Joe Hind (Dolores), sister in-law Muriel Hind (Bill Hind) (2014), as well as many nieces and nephews. Maisie enjoyed her Quester group and antique outings. Special thank you to Dr. Ian McLeod and for all the care and compassion shown by the caregivers at Extendicare Southwood Lakes. No public visitation or service will be held. Moved to Bracknell Berkshire, England before WWII and returned to Owen Sound after the war. Beloved wife of Angus, married January 12, 1950. Loving mother of Geoffrey (Joy), Paul (Lynda), Peter (Jan), Teresa (Dan), predeceased by daughter Belinda, Philip (Leanne) and Christopher. Reunited with her parents Herbert and Daisy May. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Joel, Jessica, Shannon, Jennifer, Keith, Peter, Christopher, Johnathon, Madison, Ryan, Melissa, Michael, Sarah, Haley, Carter and Spencer. Also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Nancy, Wendy, Doug, predeceased by Don, Geoff, Ted, Joan and Bernard. Millicent was an avid golfer years ago at Twin Oaks and volunteered at Hotel Dieu Hospital. She loved a good joke and had a dry sense of humour. She made many people laugh. She had a passion for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was fond of all animals especially her many pets. God has another angel. Marguerite passed away August 11th, 2014 at the age of 91 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Albuna, Ontario, daughter of the late Patrice and Rosalie Paré. Beloved wife of the late Adamo Querin (2000). Loving and cherished mother of Giovanni and Patricia, both of Windsor. Dear sister of the late Raymond (1998) wife Joan (2001), the late Sylvia (2010) husband Robin Dobson-Smith (1971), Dora (1974), Gloria (2009) surviving husband Frank Dumouchelle. Survived by sisters Madeleine (Norm 1999) Drouillard, Angeline Paré and brother George (Betty 2010) Paré). Predeceased by sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws; Severina and Guido Fantin, Ognibene (Benny) and Natalina Querin, Johnny and Justina Querin. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews who she adored. Marguerite worked at Detroit Memorial and Deaconese Hospitals and retired from Hutzel Hospital after 35 years of devoted service as a NICU nurse. She was a Brownie and Girl Guide leader and a parent volunteer for Cubs. She was a Neighbourhood Watch Captain and belonged to the Catholic Women’s League for over 25 years. Son of Octave and Lillian Robinet. John was a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, member of the Canadian Legion Branch 261. John was instrumental in establishing the Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce and the Knights of Columbus in Tecumseh. Owned and worked at Robinet’s Hardware in Tecumseh for 59 years. He was a member of the ushers club at St. Anne’s Church. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. At John’s request cremation has taken place. PROULX, Wilma Jean – Passed away at the Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in her 69th year.  Loving wife of R. Moon Mc Mullen.  Beloved Mom of Rob Proulx, Brenda Taylor (Bob), Evelyn Cassar (Brian) and step-mother of Mary Kay Underhill and Mary Ann Sawatzky.  Lovingly remembered by her 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  Dear sister of Lois Lampkin, Kate Gallant (Ken), Lynda Williams (Rob) and sister in law of Doug Rutledge.  Predeceased by her parents Fred and Hazel (nee Campbell) Ede, her siblings John Ede, Alan Ede, Ila Rutledge, Kathy Ede and her brother in law Ben Lampkin.   Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.   Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Sunday from  2-4 & 7 – 9 p.m.  A complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, August 25, 2014 at 1 p.m. with Rev. V. Passed away peacefully at Case Manor, Bobcaygeon on Sunday August 17, 2014. Clarence McCue of Curve Lake in his 92nd year.Loving husband of the late Evelyn Pearl McCue (2009). Always loved and remembered by his son Jim McCue of Peterborough and son-in-law Murray Pryce of Goderich. Dear grandfather of Sally, Adam, Jonathan, Matthew, Mark and great grandfather of 17 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his daughter Joanne Pryce, parents Alice & Leslie, brothers Fred (Marina), Stewart and sisters Aileen Irons (Amos) and Marjorie Ireland (Wilbert). Passed away at Wiidsemshin Assisted Living in Kettle Point on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, in her 89th year.  Daughter of the late William and Phoebe Smith.

Predeceased by her husband Abraham George, her children Carl, Mary and Roderick, her sons in law Jerry Lewis, and Dale Plain Sr, and her grand daughter Jody and great-grand daughter Phoebe Marie.

Survived by her children Verle, Sandra, Frank, Joy, Stewart, Tina, Elwood and Robby, her special niece Roberta, her sons in law Axel and Norman, her daughters in law Josephine, Donna, and Delina.  She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Wiidsemshin Assisted Living in Kettle Point who took excellent care of her.

All services will take place at the residence of Joy Lewis, 9356 Army Camp Road, Stoney Point. On Thursday evening, August 21, 2014, at 7:00 pm, there will be a Traditional Ceremony.  Wake to follow throughout the day on Friday, August 22, 2014, starting at 1:00 pm.  A Wake Ceremony will be conducted at 7:00 pm.  Funeral Service to take place on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at 1:00 pm.  Interment to follow at Stoney Point Cemetery.

ALFARANO, AntonioThe family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury on Saturday, August 2nd, 2014 at the age of 93 years.  Husband of the late Evelyn (née Waiwood) Alfarano (predeceased in 2011).  Son of the late Francesco and of the late Emilia (née Venti) Alfarano. Predeceased by his brother Nicola Alfarano (Palma Ienco of Italy) and by his sister Maria Alfarano (late Giuseppe Leuzzi). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews Antonio, Francesco, Angelina, Nicolina, Maria, Antonella, late Francesco, Cosimina, Emilia, Ilario and by many great nieces, great nephews, extended family and friends. Antonio battled in World War II for 5 years and later on received an award for his outstanding service. At a young age, he immigrated to France; there he studied Civil Engineering and lived for 5 years. Afterwards, he relocated to Canada working as a Civil Engineer for over 30 years at Falconbridge. He was a hard working man who enjoyed spending time on his farm with his wife, nieces, great nieces and great nephews. As per Antonio’s request, there will be no visitation.  Interment at Maplecrest Cemetery, Dowling on Saturday August 9th, 2014 at 2 p.m. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Chelmsford.

SAUVÉ, AntonioThe family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury on Saturday, August 2nd, 2014 at the age of 70 years.  Dear partner of Dolorese Dusick.  Son of the late Claude and of the late Noëlla (nee Faubert) Sauvé.  Loving father of Daniel of Barrie and Josée (Marc Bélanger) of Barrie. Dear brother of Arsène (Marielle), Cécile Ruff (Richard), Jean-Noël (Maryanne), Claudette (Bob Moir), and Raymond (Denise).  Loving grandfather of Zakary, Brendan, Tiffany and Janelle.  He will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews.  He was Treasurer of the town of Chelmsford for 27 years and was also a chairman with the C.N.I.B.  Tony loved fishing and hunting.  As expressions of sympathy, donations (by cheque only) to the C.N.I.B. would be appreciated.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Cooperative Funeral Home.  No visitation as per his request.  Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford.
