TIMMER: Mary Teresa Greenwood

Posted by on March 16, 2016

Mary Teresa Greenwood Timmers – Teresa, AKA Mother Mary, Sister Teresa, TEEA, Auntie, Tea, Foreigner, Emty and Greenie.

It was all good as long it wasn’t ‘late for supper.’

Teresa arrived premature and left immature.

Daughter of Dorothy, Henry and Patricia Anne Greenwood.  Daughter-in-law of John and Anne Timmers, wife of Gary.  Sister by birth and choice to Patti Anne Vaillant, Jacqueline Elaine (Chris) Milligan, Little Henry (Lynn Olstad) BC, Keith and Kim Schneider CO, Lana and Gregg Wagner MI.   Loving mother to Patricia Anne and Kassandra Elizabeth.

Aunt and mentor to too many to list by birth and choice.  Few Andrews, couple of Cassandras, some Sarahs, Kerry and a Carrie, Eric, Danielle, Liam, Clifford, Alisha, Jillian, Teriann, Bobby, Brayden, Tyson and Littlest Henry and the newest is Jack.  Including everyone was way more important to Teresa than remembering names.  She loved to hang with cousins, Tracey and Tracy, Smiths on both sides of family, some rooted by the river others just gone fishing.  None more than a phone call away proved once again with three dozen cousins sitting down for Thanksgiving.

Our family has heaps to be thankful for.  A colourful past and a hopeful future.

Cremation has taken place.  Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Thursday, March 17, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation being held one hour prior.
