Devoted mother of Randy (Jenn), Sue Young (Dave) and Rob (Leonor). Proud grandmother of Jennifer, Angela, Cam, Mirae, Robyn and Jay. Dear sister of Gwen Sheppard (Lew) and Larry Goldsmith (Lynn). Born on October 8, 1932 to the late Noah and Luella (nee Schilling) Grein. Alice was a former member of the Red Hats Society and enjoyed life on the farm with her husband Ezra Lantz until declining health.

Survived by sons Steven (Kim) Lantz and Kevin (Vicky) Lantz both of Hanover, cherished grandchildren Brittany (Brandon) Weber, Nathan Lantz and Kyle Lantz.  Also remembered by her sisters-in-law Joy Grein of Ayton, Alma (Mel) Janke of Kitchener, Emma (George) Weber and Lavina Fritz both of Hanover, brothers-in-law George (Doreen) Lantz of Mildmay and Harold (Hazel) Lantz of Neustadt.  Predeceased by her husband Ezra Lantz, a daughter in infancy, brothers Ivan Grein, Allan Grein, sisters-in-law Ione Grein, Kaye (Arnold) Russell and Elizabeth (Milton) Russell, brothers-in-law John (Violet) Lantz, Wilfred Weppler and Lloyd Fritz.

Beloved husband of Victoria (nee Wintoniak) for 60 wonderful years. Loving father of Lindsay and Sally Roberts. Beloved godfather of Mary-Lynn Piliarik and Tamara Vanhoogenhuize. Treasured grandfather and great-grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Elfrieda Dehn. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, July 27, 2015, Ollie Woodcock passed away at Trillium Villa Nursing Home, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Joseph (2000) for 58 years. Loving mother of Jim (Sandy) of Florida, Terry (Gale) of Port Lambton, Garry (Sandy) of Wroxeter, ON, and Trish (Nic) of Sarnia. Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Leigh-Ann, Kathleen, Michael, Jennifer, Gabrielle, Andrea and Olivia, and great-grandmother of seven. Ollie was one of nine children. She was an avid singer and had a radio show in the 1930’s in Port Huron, where she sang live. Ollie also sang with the Sweet Adelines and the Sacred Heart Church Choir. She was a member of the Women’s Catholic League and the Sarnia Golf Club, where she shot her first hole-in-one at the age of 73! Louis Norton (Young)Louis Norton 002427 Squadron RCAFNORTON, Louis R. “Lou”, of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, August 1, 2015, in his 93rd year. Beloved husband for almost 68 years to Camille (nee Orrell) Norton. Dearly loved father of David Norton of St. Thomas. Dear brother of the late James H. Norton (Ella of Sarnia). Lou is also fondly remembered by several nieces, a nephew and their families. Born in Niagara Falls, ON, December 20, 1922, he was the son of the late Earl and Anna (nee Hall) Norton. Lou was a retired pharmacist, having previously worked at the St. Thomas Psychiatric Hospital, Burns Big V, and Shoppers Drug Mart. In earlier years, he operated Norton’s Drug Store, Ross St., St. Thomas. Lou served as a navigator overseas during the Second World War with the R.C.A.F., completing one tour of operations with the #6 Bomber Group Squadron 427. He was a Past President of the St. Thomas Royals Senior B Hockey Club, a former member of the Lord Elgin Kiwanis Club, St. Thomas and the Seniors League of the St. Thomas Curling Club. Relatives and friends will be received by the family on Thursday evening, August 6th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) where the funeral service will be held on Friday, August 7th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Elmdale Memorial Park. If so desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society, the Canadian Cancer Society or the STEGH Foundation will be appreciated.

Loving Pipi of Sean (Lindsay), Ryan (Sarah), Joshua (Clarence), Nathan (Cassandra), Jessica (Lee) and C.J. (Aaron) and great granddaughter Pearl. Predeceased by his parents Dennis and Bernadette (Galipeau) Girard, brother Lawrence (late Agnes) and sister Julia (late Maurice). Dear brother of Madeline, (late Herbert) Hamlin, Jean (Gaitan) Therrien. Dear brother-in-law of Jeannie (late James) Almond, Jeanette (Curtis) Wells and the late Larry Pestik and Dale Pestik. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Gordon was a pipefitter at General Chemical, retired in 1992 with over 30 years of service. arcand louis marieMr. Louis-Marie from Grenville-sur-la-Rouge passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the age of 65. It is with great tenacity that he fought cancer for almost 13 years. He was the beloved husband of Lisette Proulx Arcand; the son or Daughter of Aimé Arcand and of Wilfrida Cadieux; the loving father of Lison (Richard), Sylvie (Chantal), Renée (Michel), François and Michaël; the adored grandfather of Catherine, Simon, Maxim, Alexe and Félix. He is survived by many brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. The family wishes to thank Dr. Mario Dallaire, Dr. Pierre Clément and Dr. André Berdnikoff as well as their teammates.

Loving father of Alyce (Keith) McKeegan and Mark (Marie) Taylor. Dear Papa of Trevis McKeegan, Sarah (Vinnie) Atkinson, Kyle McKeegan, Matthew Taylor, Danielle Mullen-Taylor, Jesse Taylor. Great-grandfather of Meghann Kelly, Dalton Kershaw, Tanner Atkinson, Nicholas Atkinson, Araya McKeegan. Survived by his brother Harold (late Gail) Taylor and sister-in-law Marguerite Taylor.
