Cherished father to Matthew and wife Shannon Semande, Michael Semande and loving step-father to Shawn Dunn and Amanda Dunn (Josh Maltais). Beloved Pipi to Ethan, Shayne, Seth and Baby Maltais who is on his way. Adored son to Anne and the late James Semande (2010). Treasured brother to Gerry and wife Leona, Don and wife Mary Semande, Brian Semande and Kevin Semande. Dear son-in-law to Norma and the late Dan Carosella (2000). Greg will be missed by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Greg had many friends with whom he enjoyed playing pool, fishing, golfing, camping and he enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be missed by many. Greg was a long time employee of Sure Seal Roofing and Siding. Graham, DonaldDonald Richard Graham of R.R. #1 Chesley, formerly of Orangeville, passed away suddenly at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in his 72nd year.

Loving husband of Jennifer. Father of Dawn (Mike) Gateman of Elmwood and Andrew Graham of Orangeville. Grandfather of Graham and Cameryn Gateman; Owen and Eden Graham. He will be missed by his brother Christopher (Alda) of Monkland, sister Sharon (Lyn) Barnes of Bountiful, Utah and sister-in-law Stephanie (Candy) De Grandis of Rockwood. Don was predeceased by first wife Carolyn (1992) and his parents, Francis and Donna (LePine) Graham.

A memorial service celebrating Don’s life was held at the Klages Mill, Chesley on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 3 p.m.

Dear father of Lois Rowbotham of R.R. #3 Elmwood, Roger (Carol) of Creemore, Gary (Kellie) of R.R. #3 Elmwood and Patricia Rowbotham of Winnipeg. Sadly missed by seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Remembered by his brothers Lloyd (Jean) of Dunedin, Allen (Joan) of Dunedin, Donald (Carol) of Strathroy, sisters Norma Johnston of Creemore, Marion Kelly of Collingwood, Barbara Cudmore of Creemore, Holly Hughes of Creemore, brother-in-law Aubrey Miller and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Willis was predeceased by his son Ted, daughter Heather McNabb, granddaughter Tammy McNabb, great-grandson Zachary, brothers Claude (Ena), Delmer (Marion), sisters Kathleen Winchester (George), Irma Miller, brothers-in-law Mervin Johnston, Ross Kelly, Barbara’s second husband Rodney Cudmore, Charles Hughes and parents Wilfred and Sophia (Drury) Rowbotham.

 

Visitation was held at the Klages Mill, Chesley on Sunday from 7 – 9 p.m. where a funeral service celebrating Willis’ life was held on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 1 p.m. Interment in Chesley Cemetery.

Born on September 27, 1929 in Carrick Township, son of the late Herbert and Cecile (nee Kuenzig) Weber.  Lorne and Noreen farmed in Normanby Township until retiring to Hanover.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a 3rd Degree Knight and a member of the Neustadt, Normanby, Carrick Agricultural Society for 45 years.

Survived by loving wife Noreen (nee Grubb) Weber, children Doug Weber of Medicine Hat, Alberta and Betty Ann King (Pete Povelofski) of Chesley; grandchildren Richard King (Bridget) and Josh King (Tracy); greatgrandchildren Trent, Taylor, Dakota and Willow.  Also survived by his brothers-in-law Gerald (Shirley) Grubb of Walkerton, Clarence (Geraldine) Grubb of St. Clements; sisters-in-law Betty (John) Schill of Wallenstein and Doreen Weber of Walkerton.  Predeceased by his brother Stan Weber, sister-in-law Marie (Alex) Diebolt.

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Sunday 2-3:30 and 7-9 pm  with Knights of Columbus Prayers and Vigil Rites at 3:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 04, 2013 at 11:00 am at Holy Family Church, Hanover. Father Gary Schlack officiated.  Interment in Holy Family Cemetery, Hanover.

Dick is survived by his wife Joyce (Allan), proud father of Kelly and her husband Ron Dann, Brent and his wife Shannon Flegel-Robinson. He loved and was loved by his grandchildren Lauren and Kevin Dann and Brooke Robinson. His cousin Lillian Koskocky and many close and special friends. He was predeceased by his parents James and Lillian Robinson and his brother Don. Dick was born in Pt. Colborne and came to Sarnia to play for the Sarnia Legionaires. He was a well known coach of several Jr. B Hockey Teams. He was twice inducted in the Sarnia Sports Hall of Fame. He was a proud member of IBEW local 530. Funeral services will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 102 N. Victoria Street, Sarnia, on Monday, November 4th at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday, November 3rd between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Myra Harris, of Durham, formerly of Hanover, passed away at SBGHC-Durham on Thursday, October 31, 2013, in her 92nd year.

Born in Shildon, County of Durham, England to the late George and Henrietta (Hindmarsh) Scott on March 14, 1922.  Myra was a English War Bride and came to Canada in 1945.

Survived by husband Jack Harris of Durham, daughter Dianne Surridge of Sauble Beach and sons Iain (Lynda) Harris of Hanover, Neil (Donna) Harris of Williamsford and Bruce (Faye) Harris of Hanover; grandchildren Christine, Graeme, Nathan, Shanirita, Stuart, Lee and Cheryle.  Also survived by her brothers Harry Scott and Gary Scott both of England. Predeceased by her daughter Pamela Harris, sisters Phyllis and Marjorie and brothers Gerald and William.

To honour Myra’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  Arrangements entrusted to the Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.

Dear daughter of the late Maude & Walter Thwaites and her late brother Art. Cherished Mother of Maxine Bourdeau and her late husband Victor & Pat Denomme and her late husband Bob. Adored Grandmother of Brian (Judy), Michael, Derrick (Debbie), Kirk (Heather), Grant (Jennifer), Sandy (Frank) and Allan. Eight loving Great-Grandchildren also survive. Evelyn was an employee of the J.L. Hudson Co. in Detroit until retirement and a member of Kingsville Golf Course for many years. Evelyn will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Stephenson, Paul webSTEPHENSON Paul – Peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at age 64 with his wife and  son by his side on Wednesday October 30, 2013. Beloved husband  to Anne. Dear father of Krista (Jeff), Jenn (Tom) and Kyle. Loving  son of Jack Stephenson.  Predeceased by his mother Milly.  Beloved brother of Glenn (Pamela) and Jim. Uncle of Sara. Paul was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and a long time employee of the Ford Motor Company, Niagara Falls and Oakville. He leaves behind many friends.

Paul is at the Morse & Son Funeral Home 5917 Main Street Niagara Falls. Family and friends will be received on Sunday November 3, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Cremation has taken place. POULIN, AiméThe family announces with sorrow his passing at St-Gabriel’s Villa in Chelmsford on Sunday, October 27th, 2013 at the age of 84 years.  Beloved husband of Fernande (née Ricard) Poulin.  Son of the late Aldège and the late Bernadette (née Brabant) Poulin.  Loving father of Madeleine Simard (Ronald), Monique Paquette (Marcel), Estelle Fleetham (Greg) and Luc (Anne).  Dear brother of Lucien (Florine), Laurent (Claudette), Adrienne Lavallée (Willy), Annette Beaudry (Gaston), Raymond (Lorraine) and Laurette Foucault (Gerry).  Predeceased by his brother Hector (Jeannine).  Sadly missed by his grandchildren Alain and Michel Paquette, Julie and André Simard, Aimée and Amanda Fleetham, Renée and Eric Poulin and by his great-grandchildren Joseé, Mathieu, Alex, Nicholas, Daniel and Kaleb.  Aimé will be remembered as being heavily involved in his community; a proud member of the “Club d’Âge d’Or” of Azilda as well as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting and spending time at his summer camp but was at his happiest when surrounded by his family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends to celebrate a mass of Christian burial on Friday, November 1st 2013 at 1 p.m. at Ste-Agnès Church, Azilda. Dear uncle to Roxanne, Rachel, Rhonda Jaime, Chad, Ryan, Kristin, Jordan, Megan, Jessica, Brandon, Brittany, Rebecca, Emily, Alex, Kayla, Sasha, and great-uncle to Ceara, Kaiden, Kianna, Zack, Zoey, Hannah, Ava, Chase, Callie, and Josh. Godfather to Ryan, Kyle, and Rhonda. He will be sadly missed in everyone’s hearts and lives. Rob’s passion was coaching hockey and he enjoyed his time on the ice; the last team he coached was the 2012-13 Nickel City Major Bantam Rebels. A heartfelt thank you to his good friend Larry. ROSS, AldaThe family announces with sorrow, her passing in Sudbury, Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the age of 101 years.  Daughter of the late François and the late Olivina (née Turpin) Laframboise. Wife of the late Alfred Ross. Beloved mother of  Normand (friend Denise), Gérald “Gerry” (Anne), Raymond (Reina), Carmen Morrissette (Émile), Maurice (friend Cécile) and Françoise McFadden (Gilbert) all of Greater Sudbury.  Dear sister of Cécile Frappier and Georgette Houle.  Predeceased by 5 sisters and 2 brothers.  Proud grandmother of 24 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.  Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents Roger and Fleuride (née Boulard) Lalonde. Beloved husband of 30 years to Jackie (née McKiel) Lalonde of Hanmer. Loving father of Nathalie Charette (André), Alain Lalonde and Eric Lalonde (Sara). Cherished grandfather of Madison, Jaden and Bentley. Dear brother of Jacqueline, Richard, Gisèle, Pauline, Lorraine and Françoise. Predeceased by his brother Georges. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. SUDAC, FrankIt is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved Frank Sudac after a lengthy illness on October 24, 2013 at the age of 87 years. Son of the late John and late Mary Sudac. He leaves behind his loving wife of 66 years Helen Sudac. Loving father of Linda (Jim), Rick (Christine) and Debra (Bob). Predeceased by his son Gerry and brothers Ivan (Anka), Rudy (Anne) and Tony (Tina). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Chris (Mari), Ian (Charity), Craig, Cara (Clayton), Allison (Darin) and great grandchildren Emily, Logan, Sophie, Chris and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. PARKER, Percy of Tavistock, formerly of Woodstock

PARKER, Percy – Peacefully at People Care Centre, Tavistock on Thursday, October 31, 2013, Percy Parker formerly of Woodstock in his 95th year.  Beloved husband of Jean Parker (nee Bradley).  Dear father and step-father of Margaret Radliff (Ron) of Mt. Vernon, Washington, late Terrance Parker (2011) (Margaret) of England, Vaughan Clarke (Sue) of Woodstock, Joan Austin (Mike) of Barry’s Bay, Jane Parker of Toronto and Bill Parker (Judy) of Woodstock.  Lovingly remembered by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren in Canada, United States and England.  Predeceased by his 5 brothers and 3 sisters in England.  Percy joined the British Army – King’s Own Royal Regiment in 1939 where he served in many countries and completed his duty in 1946.  Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Monday, November 4, 2013 from 10 – 11 am for a funeral service in the chapel at 11am with Rev.
