Willis Elmer Rowbotham of Chesley, passed away at Parkview Manor, Chesley on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2013 in his 79th year.
Dear father of Lois Rowbotham of R.R. #3 Elmwood, Roger (Carol) of Creemore, Gary (Kellie) of R.R. #3 Elmwood and Patricia Rowbotham of Winnipeg. Sadly missed by seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Remembered by his brothers Lloyd (Jean) of Dunedin, Allen (Joan) of Dunedin, Donald (Carol) of Strathroy, sisters Norma Johnston of Creemore, Marion Kelly of Collingwood, Barbara Cudmore of Creemore, Holly Hughes of Creemore, brother-in-law Aubrey Miller and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Willis was predeceased by his son Ted, daughter Heather McNabb, granddaughter Tammy McNabb, great-grandson Zachary, brothers Claude (Ena), Delmer (Marion), sisters Kathleen Winchester (George), Irma Miller, brothers-in-law Mervin Johnston, Ross Kelly, Barbara’s second husband Rodney Cudmore, Charles Hughes and parents Wilfred and Sophia (Drury) Rowbotham.
Visitation was held at the Klages Mill, Chesley on Sunday from 7 – 9 p.m. where a funeral service celebrating Willis’ life was held on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 1 p.m. Interment in Chesley Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
