Alice Lantz, of Hanover, formerly of Neustadt, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital on Monday, August 03, 2015, in her 83rd year.
Born on October 8, 1932 to the late Noah and Luella (nee Schilling) Grein. Alice was a former member of the Red Hats Society and enjoyed life on the farm with her husband Ezra Lantz until declining health.
Survived by sons Steven (Kim) Lantz and Kevin (Vicky) Lantz both of Hanover, cherished grandchildren Brittany (Brandon) Weber, Nathan Lantz and Kyle Lantz. Also remembered by her sisters-in-law Joy Grein of Ayton, Alma (Mel) Janke of Kitchener, Emma (George) Weber and Lavina Fritz both of Hanover, brothers-in-law George (Doreen) Lantz of Mildmay and Harold (Hazel) Lantz of Neustadt. Predeceased by her husband Ezra Lantz, a daughter in infancy, brothers Ivan Grein, Allan Grein, sisters-in-law Ione Grein, Kaye (Arnold) Russell and Elizabeth (Milton) Russell, brothers-in-law John (Violet) Lantz, Wilfred Weppler and Lloyd Fritz.
Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 06, 2015 at 11:00 am, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Normanby. Rev. Becky Klages officiating. Interment in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Normanby.
