Glenn is survived by his beloved wife Jenny (nee Raglan), son Cameron and daughter Cierra. Glenn will be missed by brothers Al and his wife Fran, and Jeff and his wife Mira. Beloved Uncle to Cathy, Rob (Lindsay), Janelle (Mike), Jayne (Mac), Melissa, David and Danielle Lepine, Matthew Metcalfe (Meghan), Darrell Sadler (Sandra), Justin, Jordan (Lance) and Mitchell Kersten, Chad and Chelsey Baynham, Ashley (Jordan), Shelby and Cassie Raglan. Great Uncle to Chloe Collin, Benjamin Crowe, Mikaella Fisher and Joshua Sadler. Cousin to Ann (late Ralph) Aikin, Christa (Jon) Fife, Hannah and Sophie. Brother-in-law to Wendy (Mark) Metcalfe, Carol Anne (John) Sadler, Sue Kersten, Vince Kersten, Barb Raglan and Herb (Tammy) Raglan. Son-in-law to Audrey (late Clarence “Rags”) Raglan. Predeceased by his parents Laura and “1984 Hall of Famer” Bob Crowe. Glenn will be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles and numerous friends, and will be especially missed by his faithful dog Cedric. Smith; AliceOn Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia, in her 98th year.  Beloved mother of Gini and her husband Bob Newman of Petrolia, grandmother of Alicia Newman of Hamilton, Rheana and Mike Criscione of Toronto, Rob and Nicole Newman of Petrolia, and Alexandra Smith of Toronto, and GG of Audrey and Elise Newman, and Malcolm and Alice Criscione.  Dear sister of Lona Felker of Stoney Creek.  Predeceased by her son Trevor (2001) and her husband of 60 years, Malcolm (2003). Alice was proud to be a breast cancer survivor (20 years).  Alice was the oldest of six children born to the late Everett and Effie Nelson.  She graduated from Saltfleet High School and the Hamilton General School of Nursing (last living member of the class of 38B).  During the war years she was a nurse in a wartime production factory.  Following the war she followed Malcolm as he pursued his education and career, first to Ajax and then to Etobicoke where she was honoured by the Red Cross for her years of volunteer service.  Finally in 2002, she moved to Petrolia to be near family.  Visitors will be received on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, 4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia.  A funeral service celebrating Alice’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2014 from the Donald V. O’DONNELL, James Patrick – The family of James Patrick O’Donnell (Jim O’Donnell) announce his peaceful passing at the Palliative Care Unit of London Health Sciences Center (Victoria Hospital) on January 26, 2014, in his 76th year. Jim is survived by Cathy, his wife of 50 years, and sons Jamie and Kevin and partners Cynthia and Julie. Also survived by his four grandchildren, Sabine, Lauren, Seamus and Declan of whom he was particularly proud. Predeceased by his parents Bertha and Jim O’Donnell and his sister Pat Capitano. Jim was a teacher for over 3 decades at North Lambton Secondary School in Forest, Ontario and was especially proud of his involvement as Staff Advisor to the school’s Student Council. During his years in Forest, Jim was also involved for many years with both Army Cadets and the Scouting groups in Forest. All during Jim’s brief illness, he and his family were extended the best care and kindness on all occasions from staff at LHSC, and their compassion is greatly appreciated. On February 3rd, 2014 God called Grace home to be with Him in Heaven at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Gordon Bonney (1993). She was a loving mother to her son, David (Janet) of Neepawa, MB and daughters, Carolyn of Surrey, B.C., Sharon Birch (Brian) of Cottam. Loving grandmother to Nathan (Erin), James (Nikki), Michael, Susan, Jeremy and Joshua as well as 6 great grandchildren, Charlotte, Soren, Eliot, Neriah, Gideon and Joseph. She will also be missed by her many friends in the various Baptist churches she and Gordon pastored in Ontario and Western Canada along with those at First Baptist Church in Leamington and the Leamington United Mennonite Home. Grace was a member of First Baptist Church, Leamington and shared her love of music and volunteered as she could. After a lengthy illness Pearl Grace Briden (nee Graham) passed away, on February 2, 2014, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, at the age of 86. Wife of the late Frank Edward (January, 1973). Mother of Diana (Charlie) McEachern, Edward (Angela) Briden, and Beverley (Thom) Workman. Predeceased by her brother Jack Graham (1973). She will be missed by her grandchildren Kimberley (Norman) Gagorek, Jason (Jennifer) Harris; Shanna (Joshua) Cremers, Blake, Chelsea and Rex Briden; Meredith, Bronwyn and Tristian Workman. Great grandmother to Braeden, Quinton Gagorek, and Alexis and baby Cremers.She cherished her pet Prince. Special thanks to a very good friend Colleen Bell, Marc and Alex; Dr. Maddison and all the wonderful staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice. Pearl was very active at one time sewing, crocheting and knitting. She volunteered in British Columbia and Hamilton. She was very involved with Girl Guides for fifteen years – 6 of those years as Petrolia District Commissioner. At Pearl’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service held. Pearl said she came into this world quietly and will leave quietly. Cremation has taken place. Surrounded by the love of his family, Edwin (Ed) William Johnson passed away peacefully on Friday, January 31, 2014 at the age of 64. He was the loving and supportive husband of Susanne (nee Hale) for 42 years. Proud father of Amy Hawkes and her husband David of Sarnia and Jennifer Dacosta and her husband Ashley of Sault Ste. Marie. Loving grandfather of Jordan, Sarah, and Nathan Hawkes and Matthew and Aiden Dacosta. Dear brother of Joanne (Jay) Cantor and Michael (Joanne) Johnson. Son in-law of Bill (Merv) Hale and brother in-law of Allan (Patty) Hale. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Elvie Johnson and mother in-law Boots Hale. Ed was a long-time employee of Steeplejack Services, Sarnia as a mechanic and service manager before retiring in 2009. His passion for all things mechanical came through in his work. He carried this interest into restoring fixing and enjoying all aspects of cars. He spent many hours watching car races. He enjoyed the solitude and wonder of the outdoors through hunting, fishing, boating and conservation, passions that he passed on to his children and grandchildren. It was his dream to spend his retirement at his property in Desbarats, ON. The property has been the source of many great memories and with the help of many hands, Sue and Ed have built a cottage that will continue to be a legacy that the family will enjoy. Ed spent many hours giving back to his community. Whatever needed to be done at Camlachie United Church and Lamrecton Camp, Ed was there to help. Our thanks to Doctors Schlebusch and Maddison for their exceptional care and to all the nurses of the Palliative Care unit at Bluewater Health who cared for Ed with such respect and compassion. Throughout his illness, Ed handled the obstacles that he faced with faith, acceptance and humour. Ed was an outstanding example of strength and courage during a difficult journey. Although we would have liked more time with Ed, we give thanks for a life lived with integrity, gentleness, and a loving spirit. As per Ed’s request, his body has been donated for scientific research. Peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 Michael Holland passed away at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Leona Holland. Loving father of Meaghan Begley, Ryan Holland, Craig Holland, Melissa MacPherson , Reed Holland and Courtney Holland and their spouses. Cherished grandfather of Natalie, Kyra, Victoria, Alexa, Alexander, Christopher, Hannah, Jeydan, Logan, Aiden and Isabella. Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Monday February 3, 2014, Agnes Barrette (nee Angelski) passed away at the age of 73. Beloved wife of Len for the past 53 years. Loving mother of Cindy Barrette-Westendorp (late Bruce), Lenora Barrette Miller and Tammy Ferguson (Ron). Proud Grandmother of Mickayla Westendorp and Isaiah and Sasha Miller. Sister of Debbie Bright and Eddie Angelski. Also survived by a large extended Barrette family in the Windsor area, several nieces and nephews; and son-in-law Glenn Miller. Predeceased by her brother Joe, sisters Joyce Scimmi, Joan Cooper and Pat Quinton. Agnes will be deeply missed by her best friends Faye, Angela and Joanna. Thank you ladies for all your love and support throughout the years. Thank you to Dr. G. Maddison and his team at St. Joseph’s Hospice for their wonderful care. Agnes had a busy life looking after 3 children and supporting her hard working husband Len. Agnes was an amazing cook at St. Bart’s Daycare, known as “magnus” to some. For many years, Agnes and Len owned and operated Sarnia Sport Satin Sewing. She was an avid gardener, she loved to read, and delighted in family get togethers. Agnes loved and doted on her 3 grandchildren and had a special bond with her “peanut”. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home 1576 London Line, Sarnia on Thursday February 6, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday February 7, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday February 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. In the comfort of his Glencoe home, on Monday, February 3, 2014 at the age of 73.  Beloved husband and best friend of Donna (Telfer) Leitch Wilson.   Special brother of Don Wilson and his wife Joanne and their family of London.  Dear brother-in-law of Keith and Debi Telfer and family from Brighton, ON.  Lovingly missed by his stepsons Ralph and Linda Leitch of Mt. Brydges and Roger and June Leitch of Stratford.  Very proud grandpa to his 5 terrific grandchildren Justin and Jordan Leitch and Carter, Mitchell and Andrew Leitch.  Also survived by his children Christine McKerlie and Terry Wilson.  Predeceased by his son Jamie and his parents Alexander (Tom) and Ada Wilson and his mother-in-law Audrey Telfer.  At Ken’s request cremation has occurred.  Family and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Saturday February 15 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where a celebration of Ken’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.  A private interment will be held at Campbell Cemetery, Komoka at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to a Charity of your choice. www.vanheckfuneralhome.ca
