Surrounded by her family, Carol passed peacefully on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 4:36 p.m.  She expressed she felt God in her heart moments before she took His hand.  A source of strength, mother and friend, Carol was born, raised and resided in Cobourg where she became an established regional artist focusing on her love of nature and inspiration from dreams.

A bright spirit and lover of life, Carol will be missed by her mate of many years, Jack Wilcox.  Her selfless devotion, tender femininity and faithful “Happy Dreams” wishes are cherished by her children Bob Oliver (Barb), Susie Oliver, and she now rests in peace with her son Michael who passed on September 16th, 2012.  Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Kelly Morris (Mike), Jessica Oliver, Bobby Jr. Oliver, Waylon Morris and Farah Morris will benefit forever from her explorations in nature and art.  And, her contagious humour shall live on with many cousins, step-children, nieces, nephews, step-sisters and brothers, family and many true friends around the world.  A “Celebration of Life” will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Cobourg Legion, Orr Street, Cobourg at 2 p.m. in harmony with her son, Michael David Oliver.  You may make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.  Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
