Peacefully at home with her family by her side on Saturday, October 20, 2012 , Ruby (Mitchell) O’Hanlon passed away at the age of 74. Ruby worked at Union Carbide for many years. Beloved wife of James O’Hanlon. Loving mother of James (Dorothy), Stephen (Diane) and Richard (Sue). Cherished grandmother of Meaghan, Tyler, Tristan, Shawn, Ian, Brian, Lindsey, Stacey, Jason and Ryan. Dear great grandmother of Ethan, Tallon and Blaze. Dear sister of Betty, Edward and Tom. Predeceased by her sisters Sara and Anne and by her brothers Bill and John. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 in the evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Smith Funeral Home.  The family would like to extend their thanks to Sandy Ferguson from V.O.N. for all her care and support and also to the Red Cross Society and the Palliative Care Team.
