Con made several trips home to Ireland and visited his many relations there and in the UK as well as in New Zealand. Con lived as a boy on a farm near Millstreet, Cork. Due to illness as a child, he did not start school until he was 9. He always worked hard and overcame any adversity.
He had many friends who loved him. Thank you to the many health professionals who supported Con since he was diagnosed with Lewy Body disease. Thank you also to the staff at University Hospital (Acute and Sub-acute / Palliative wards) who provided excellent care in Con’s last weeks.
