BEAZLEY, Roger George of Wyoming

Posted by on April 14, 2018

BEAZLEY, Roger George – Age 75 of Wyoming, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia. Loving father of Julie Beazley, Sean Beazley and Brad (Deirdre Park) Beazley. Cherished grandfather of Liam Murillo Beazley. Predeceased by his parents George Alfred and Helen Louise (Armstrong) Beazley and his infant brother Robert. RIP Dad/Grandpa. Our hearts are broken and you will be missed beyond measure. Such a sweet, generous, supportive, gentle giant with an enormous heart, smile and spirit. We love you to infinity and beyond. Roger lost his left leg above his knee to osteomyelitis after incurring multiple injuries to his knee due to his love of sports. He was a huge basketball enthusiast and was an enormous Raptors fan. His amputation was never a disability to him. He never let it deter him from the things he loved to do. Fishing and travel being two of his passions, he loved nothing more than doing those things with his kids. Roger was an incredibly loving, supportive Grandpa to his Grandson Liam. He accompanied Liam on many of his medical appointments to Sick Kids Hospital. They shared a very special bond. And we would be remiss if we didn’t mention the love and companionship shared between Roger and Willow – the sweet husky he adopted from The Sarnia & District Humane Society. RIP to one of the most generous hearts we have met.
At the family’s request there will be no services. Cremation has taken place.
Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca) or Down Syndrome Association of Ontario (www.dsao.ca)

TOMPKINS, CORKY – Clitheroe (Corky) Wellington Tompkins at the age of 87 fell asleep in death to await a resurrection to a paradise earth. Born and raised in the ‘bush’ with endless tales of exploration, hard work, cutting ice from the lake and friendships. He made sure his family experienced the north and encouraged our love of it. He also spent time working in the mines at Inco as a Millwright and also as a Stationary Engineer in chemical valley. Corky loved to talk shop and had an incredible memory of every incident at work.
