NOEL, IdaThe family announces with sorrow, her passing in Sudbury, Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the age of 88 years.  Daughter of the late Roméo and the late Anna (née Tremblay) Lavoie. Wife of the late Edmond Noël. Beloved mother of Lise Richardson (Lee) of Hanmer.  Dear sister of Thérèse (late Léo Audet), Jeannine (late Jean Michaud), Carmen (Hermel Boucher), Marianne (late Joseph Couturier [Germain Vallée]) and Alexandre (late Cécile [Jacqueline]).  Predeceased by her sisters and brothers, Adrien Lavoie (late Juliette), Alfred Lavoie (late Marguerite), Arthur Lavoie (Rose), Lucien Lavoie (Louise), Yolande Lavoie (late Charles), Roméo Lavoie (late Ubaldine), Jacques Lavoie (late Gisèle) and Léontine Lavoie (late René Lavoie).  Proud grandmother of Julie (Tom), Kerry Lee (Deacon), Jay (Andrea) and great-grandmother of Athena, Jackson and Greyson.  Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.   Ida will be remembered for having been an active member in her community, especially a member of Club d’Age d’or, Hanmer and a member of the bowling club.  The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570, rue St-Joseph, Hanmer, Sunday, October 21, 2013  from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m.  Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 11a.m. in St-Jacques church, Hanmer.  Donations to the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
