A Celebration of Bruce’s Life will be held on

Saturday, June 23, 2018 at

the Nepean Sportsplex

(1701 Woodroffe Ave, Nepean)  

Salons C & D  from  2 to 5 PM.

All are welcome to join together and share memories.

Bruce Nichols, Suddenly, at the age of 64 on May 7, 2018 after returning home from his daily long run. Bruce was an economist with the federal government who joined the public service after his graduation with a Bachelor of Commerce and MA in Economics form Carleton University. An avid sportsman and sports fan, he fully enjoyed golf, curling, softball, volleyball and the comradery of the many team mates and friends he made over the years, He was predeceased by his beloved mother Joan (nee Parslow) and brother George. He is survived by his father Richard John (“Jack”) Nichols, brothers John (Karin) and Glen (Tony), nephews Bradley (Amanda),  Richard (Erica), Graeme (Ashley), nieces Lisa (Darren) and Meredith,  grandnephew Griffin and sister-in-law Allison Jamieson.

His cheerful smile, kindness and generosity will be remembered and missed by all.

A private cremation and interment will take place. The family is planning for and will be hosting his many friends, former colleagues, and neighbours to a Celebration of Bruce’s Life will be held on
