Passed away peacefully on November 3, 2012 at 91 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis Westlake (1988). Born in Maidstone Twp. on April 6, 1921 Son of the late Ellwood and Jessie (McKee) Neuert. Loving father of Chuck and Linda Neuert, Peggy and Gary Hicks, Nancy Lynn and Cajetan Ferro, Richard and Tammy Neuert. Treasured grandfather of Steve and Renee, Michelle and Mario, Brent and Natalie, Brad, Ajay and Sylvia, Jeremy, Adam, Nathan, Melissa and 5 great-grandchildren. Loved brother of Ruth and late husband Harry Battersby, John and Jean Neuert, Faye and Gerry Giffin, Pauline and late husband Ken Burnett. Dearest brother-in-law of Bob and Joanne Westlake and the late Jack Shirley Westlake. Predeceased by brothers and sisters, Mary and husband Sam MacKenzie, Vera and husband Donald Fair, and Dorothy King. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Arnie served our Country during WWII in Italy as a Gunner. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. # 201 Essex. He will always be known for his friendly smile and conversation throughout the town. Arnie loved his walks and rides on his scooter in Essex.
