Neill, James Joseph of St. Thomas, passed peacefully, on Sunday, November 11th, 2012, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle, in his 64th year. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Alice (McCrudden) Neill and much loved father of Lisa Otero (Yunier), Emma Currie (Jason), Stuart Neill, all of St. Thomas and Robert Neill (Shara) of London. Specially loved poppy to Bridgette, Brett, Tahnier, Michael, Fiona, James, Mason, Rianne, Keegan, Jayla and Ethan. Dear brother of Brian Neill (Fiona McClenaghan) and Thomas Neill (Helena), all of Northern Ireland. Special family to Parker and Karen Kumchy, Bev (late Jim) Hamilton, Robert and Judy McCrudden and family. Jim was born in Belfast Northern Ireland on October 19th, 1949, the son of the late James and Dora (Tate) Neill. He came to St. Thomas in 1994 and formerly lived in Brampton. Jim retired as General Supervisor from Lear Seating. He was a passionate Manchester United Fan and a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The family will celebrate Jim’s life by receiving friends at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St. , St. Thomas on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. Casual dress is requested ( Manchester United Jerseys optional ). Flowers gratefully declined. Remembrances would be appreciated to the London Regional Cancer Centre (Prostate Research).
