Mary Ann Neely B.A. M.A. of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Monday, January 12th, 2015, age 84 years. Predeceased by her parents T. Edward Neely and Hazel “Barrett” Neely. Graduate of Alma College she continued her education to achieve her B.A. and M.A. degree from Western University. Mary Ann was a dedicated highly respected High School Teacher teaching students at Alma College and Parkside Collegiate.  She will be remembered fondly by her many various interests in organizations and clubs within the community. Mary Ann was so thankful and comforted knowing everyone was holding her in thoughts and prayers during this illness. She is survived by her eight year old Yorkshire Terrier Bronte, Goddaughter Kimberly Allen, cousins, a large number of devoted friends and neighbours.

Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Monday at 1:00pm. Cremation to follow with private entombment of ashes in the Family Area of the St. Thomas Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday prior to the service from 12:00-1:00pm. In Memoriam Donations will be gratefully acknowledged and may be made to the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation (Continuing Care Unit).
