It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden death of Louis on November 18, 2014 at the age of 72. Born in Malta, his family immigrated to Windsor in 1953. Beloved husband of Mary (nee VanderZanden) for 51 years. Loving father of sons Paul and wife Laura, Allen and Robert. Dear step-grandad of Robert. Lovingly remembered by his sister Marlene, brothers Joe and wife Judy, Donald and wife Louise. Brother-in-law of George and wife Ivy, and sisters-in-law Loretta Lefave and husband Bob, Diane MacIssac and husband Gus, Liz Sokolich and husband Jerry, Linda Holgate and husband Tom and predeceased by Helen O’Connor (2014). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Vincent and Evelyn. Louis was an electrician and worked at Chrysler Canada for 38 years. He was a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus Tecumseh Council # 4375, St. Anne Parish Council and Choir and the Windsor Community Choir. If you so desire, donations to the St. Anne Parish Restoration Fund or Hospice Residential would be appreciated by the family. Visitation Wednesday 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish prayers at 7:30 p.m., and Thursday 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. with Knights of Columbus prayers at 7:00 p.m. at FAMILIES FIRST 1065 Lauzon Rd. East Windsor (519-969-5841). On Friday, family and friends are invited to meet at St. Anne Parish 12233Tecumseh Road East after 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
