Peacefully on May 11, 2018 at 88 years of age.  Beloved husband of 70 years of June (nee Shepley).  Loving father of Barbara Chase and Mike Schentag, Richard and wife Pauline, the late William Gerald (Jerry) and wife Cheryl Nantais, Debbie and husband Bernie Lusk, Roslynn and husband Ian Norman, Connie and husband Rick Parent, and Pamela and husband William Porter.  Loved son of the late William and Stella Nantais.

Cherished grandfather of Jeff and Diane, Marnie and Kevin, Allison and Jean Paul, Derrick and Greg, Nicole and Jeff, Kristen and Marc, Bryan and Jill, Matthew, Katie and Chris, Adam and Kelly, Jimmy, Claire, Samantha, Rebecca and Anthony, Faith and Tyler, and Jared.  Great-grandfather of Ashley, Kelsea, Travis, Zachary, Josh, Rowan, Ben and Owen, and great-great grandfather of Emily and Evan, Brayden, Dylan and the late Jack.

Dear brother of (deceased) Joe, husband of Barbara Nantais, (deceased) Lea and Al Druer, (deceased) Annabelle and Bob Normand, (deceased) Charlene and Gord Milburn, (deceased) Doreen Marcotte wife of Paul Langlois, and Donald and wife Carol Nantais.

William was an active member and Past Patron of Fort Malden Chapter #268 Order of the Eastern Star, member and Past Master of Thistle Lodge #34 A.F. & A.M., 32nd Degree Mason and member of Windsor Lodge of Perfection 14th Degree and Windsor Chapter of Rose Croix 18th Degree and the Moore Sovereign Consistory.  Donations to St. Andrew’s Anglican Church LaSalle or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Visitation Tuesday from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m.

Eastern Star Service Wed 7:15 p.m. and Masonic Service 7:45 p.m. to be held Wednesday at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
