It is with great sadness that the family of Beryl announces her passing peacefully at her home in Shiloh on June 20, 2012 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Edwin Mutton (October 4, 2003). Loving mother of Stephanie (Joe McMurray), the late Michael (June 3, 2011) (Survived by her daughter-in-law Helen) , David, Graham (Cathy) and Wendy Ventress. Cherished Granny of Chris (Rebecca) McMurray, Erin (Jay) Sonegra, Kevin (Amanda), Heather (Lawrence) Meade, Richard (Erika), Jeffery, Bill (Laura), Angela (Bob) Rowan, Steven Ventress (Patti), Anthony Ventress, Michelle Ventress. Loving Great-Granny of many great-grandchildren. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. William Tucker. Beryl was an active member of the community, many organizations including the Shiloh Ladies’ group, the Colborne Horticultural Society, the Colborne Stamp Club, and the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies’ Auxiliary. She was a war bride, emigrating to Canada in 1946. During World War II, she volunteered as a nurse withthe British Red Cross. For many years, she was employed at the Cooey Plant in Brighton, Ontario. The center of her life was her family and that was evident in the way she lead her life. We will all miss her zest for life, her stories and the love she gave to all of us. Friends are invited to call at the MACCOUBREY FUNERAL HOME, 11 King Street West, Colborne, Ontario on Friday, June 29 from 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Shiloh Memorial Church on Saturday, June 30 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Anja Guignon officiating.
