30 Dad, July 2008gAt McCormick Home, London, on Thursday May 23rd, 2013, Mr. Barry Moyes of London and formerly of Chatham and St. Thomas, in his 83rd year.  Cherished son of the late George and Marion Moyes.  Beloved husband of the late Frances (Porter) Moyes (1990).  Loving father of Alan of Chatham, Rob and his wife Marilyn of London, Jamie and his wife Edie of Tupperville, and Nancy Case and her husband Dana of Barrie.  He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Christopher, Robbie, Ben, Jared and Carly.  Barry is predeceased by his five sisters Marion Moyes (infant), Emily Moyes, Eileen Imrie, Aura Graham, and Iris Vincent, and his five brothers Don, Tony, Fred, Doug and Ern Moyes.  Barry grew up in St. Thomas and enjoyed pitching competitive fastball as a youth.  He was a retiree of Union Gas.  His career in Accounting with Dominion Gas/Union Gas in St. Thomas and Chatham spanned 50 years – the longest serving employee in the company’s 103 year history.  He also enjoyed golf and gardening, and loved his Big Band music.  Barry was a kind and gentle man, and he respected everyone.  Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 on Tuesday May 28 visiting from 7 to 9 p.m.  A private family service will be conducted the following day in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Carol Browning officiating.  Interment at Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Thomas.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  If so desired, friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society of Ontario.  On-line condolences may be left at www.alexanderfuneralhome.ca
