WEB_Morel_LeonardWith deep sadness and broken hearts we lost our cherished husband, father and grandfather. Len passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on April 4th 2014. Soul mate and Best friend of Shirley (nee Kinney) for 62 years. Loved and adored by his 5 daughters: Cindy Morel (Gary Janisse), the late Lori Ramsey (Ken), Kelly Bellemore (Ron), Lenni Reed (Mike), Michelle Grant (Darcey). Devoted Pépé of Rudy, Jaime (Ben), Dustin, Jessie (Chris), Kenlyn, Brett (Natasha), Stacey, Kelsey, Kailey (Aaron), Sam (Jenna), Jeff (Annie), Sommer, Sawyer and Garret. Special “White Pépé” of Audrey, Ryan and Carter. He will be sadly missed by his Chihuahuas Zorro, Zeus and Zena. Brother of Irene. Dear brother-in-law and friend of Betty & Ray Kosokowsky. Predeceased by his parents Remi “Frenchie” & Bella Morel, parents-in-law Chess & Bess Kinney and sister-in-law Marg & Bart Paterson. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and dear friends. Len and his father ran and operated a successful GM dealership “Essex Auto Sales” for 43 years, until his retirement due to illness in 1999. Len enjoyed many years living on the lake in Kingsville with his family, sharing with them all his “toys”- boats, jet skis, mini bikes, tractor, 4 wheelers, snowmobiles, go karts and anything else that went fast, as well as traditional Sunday dinners together. If you so desire, donations to Windsor & Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation, Hospice of Windsor or CCAC would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Monday 3-5 &7-9 pm.
