NORMA MARGARET MOORE (nee Cox), of RR 2 Oil Springs, was in her 87th year.   Norma was a loving wife of 64 years to Don Moore. She will be missed by her children Janice and Gord Fuller, Leigh and Amy Moore, Laurie and Rick Lightfoot, and Rob and Judy Moore. Norma was a proud grandmother to Katie and Jake Chapman, Jackie Fuller, Melissa and Mitch Conliffe, Allison and Curtis Reimer, Carly and Kyle Crombeen, Christie Moore, Zak Lightfoot, Dylan Lightfoot, Emily Moore and Dylan Fraser, Josh Moore, and Ashley Moore, and great-grandmother to Kylie and Wylan Chapman, Abby Conliffe, and Liam and Shirley Reimer.  Norma was predeceased by her parents, Orval and Edna Cox, brother Murray Cox, and brother-in-law Garnet Moore. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Donna Cox, Donna Moore, and Elaine Kelly. Norma will also be missed by her extended family and many friends and neighbours. Norma worked as a teacher in one-room schools in Enniskillen Township, farmed with Don, and raised her family. She was an active member of the Oakdale U.C.W. and the Oakdale Women’s Institute and volunteered for the Canadian Cancer Society for 40 years. Visitors will be received on Friday, September 5, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Oil Springs Cemetery.
