David “Dave” Moore, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at Hanover and District Hospital, on Thursday, August 15, 2013, in his 59th year.
Born in Hanover on April 26, 1955 to the late Arthur and Adele (nee Pegelo) Moore. Dave had great pride in being self employed and will be remembered by his grateful customers. He was a regular at Tim Hortons and will be missed by the staff and fellow coffee drinkers.
Survived by loving wife Faye (nee MacDonald) Moore of Hanover, step children Dan (Lynn) Cox and Nancy (Tim) Mellish both of Hanover, Jennifer (Ken) Swindlehurst and Sara Price (Duncan MacNeill) both of Durham, loving grandchildren Jaysen, Kristina (Nick), Ashleigh, Tiffany, Natasha, Courtney, Alyssa, Cody, Kylie, Aaron, Abbygale, Annabell and Adam, great grandchildren Landon, Colton, Isabelle and Julia. Remembered by his brother Richard (Marion) Moore of RR#2 Walkerton, sisters Phyllis (Joe) Lane of Elmwood, Debbie (Maurice) Hopkins of Hanover and Donna (Alvin) Moffat of Teeswater and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Clayton Moore and sister Dolly Beaulieu.
In keeping with Dave’s wishes, the family asked you dress casual to participate in the Celebration of his Life.
Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 19, 2013 at 11:00 am, at Grace United Church. Rev. Rienk Vlietstra officiating. Interment in Hanover Cemetery.
