web_monforton lloydIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lloyd Francis Monforton on July 29th, 2014 at the age of 83. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends. Lloyd leaves behind his best friend and soulmate Lucille (Blais) of 55 years. Dear father of Lise (Kyle) Goettl and Yvette (Brian) Miller. Proud Papa of Tyler (Simran), Ryan (deceased), Travis and Hannah Goettl; Bryce (Danica), Brittany (Nick), Brett (Kayla) and Brooke Miller. Cherished great-papa of Hunter Miller. Dear son of the late Romeo and Lily. Dear brother of Roy (Florence), Leona Langlois, Mary-Jane Grady, Jim (Doris), Cecilia and Marguerite Reeb, sister-in-law Carmel and Migs. Brother-in-law of Gerard and Angeline Marentette, Maxine Blais, Phil and Rosita Blais, Tom and Gaby Blais and Louis Blais. Predeceased by brothers Nelson (Estelle), Father Marc, Leo and Orval and the late Paul Langlois and Joe Grady. Sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Special friend of Brian Thibert and the Rocheleau family. Lloyd worked 37 years as a carpenter for Buttery Construction. He was an avid fan of the Montreal Canadiens and the Detroit Tigers. Member of River Canard K of C. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph Restoration Fund or Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
