Molyneaux, Alfred “Dennis” of St. Thomas passed away on Thursday, February 6th, 2014,  with his most loved wife  Barbara  at his side at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, after a valiant battle with cancer,  in his 74th year. Dear  brother of Douglas Molyneaux  of Parry Sound, Darlene Mikovich (Mel)  of Thunder Bay  and the late Donna Siminac. Sadly missed by a number of nieces and nephews and his extended family of Heffren. Dennis was a believer in fitness and in his community. He survived polio to become an  alternate  in the 400 meter in the PanAm Games in 1959.  He was on the mine rescue team for Noranda Geco Mines. He also was an OPP Officer and a member of the North Bay Police Department and served 6 years on the OPP Tactical Response Unit. After retirement from the North Bay Police Department Dennis owned and investigated for LouMar Investigations for 22 years. He was a proud supporter of the North Bay Crime Stoppers. Dennis was an avid snowmobiler who maintained  many friendships through snowmobiling from Thunder Bay to the Gaspe Bay Peninsula.

A Public Memorial service to celebrate Dennis’s life will be held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas on Monday at 1:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. A second memorial service will be announced at a later date in North Bay. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
