web_istvan_mojsoMarch 28, 1938 (Hungary)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Papa has passed away. After a long and painful illness he is now without any pain or suffering.   Married to his wonderful caregiver and wife Julianna for 57 years. Stern but very proud father of Robert (Bob) Mojso (Mary) and Sue Mancini ( Enzo). Grandfather of Steven (Sarah), Julie (Tony), Maria (Kyle) Mojso and Luigi (Lee Ann) Mancini. Brother and Sisters in Hungary. Papa’s passion was playing cards and WINNING, playing jokes on people, gardening, nice homes, nice cars and looking like a million bucks. He immigrated to Canada in 1957 with many stories that our generation could never imagine going through, he worked very hard all his life and together with our Mom, they accomplished many things, for this we are very proud of our parents. He was a proud retiree of Chrysler, 2000. He was a very proud Maple Leafs fan (sometimes), but most of all he was a very proud and hard-working Canadian. He will be deeply missed by his many friends and family. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors at the Renal clinic- McDougall, nursing staff from Revera, neighbours, Dr. Charlene Johnston and our RPN Justin. If you so desire, donations to In Honor of The One’s We Love or to the Kidney Foundation/Windsor & District Chapter would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Thursday 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Friday 1:00pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Cremation to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
