Miller: James Naylor of Sarnia

Passed away peacefully at Vision Nursing Home on Sunday, April 29, 2012.  Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (Capper) for 50 years.  Jim will be missed by his three daughters, Ruth Moore (Will Allison), Janet Knight (John Sundby) and Margaret “Maggie” (Bill Kroes).  Jim is also survived by his grandchildren; Kevin Knight (Joleen), Jackie Moore and Brian Moore and, great-grandchildren, Dylan, Caleb and Gracie Knight.  Jim was predeceased by his parents John and Isabella, brother John, and sister Isobel Spearman.  He will be missed by his nephew Paul Spearman (Cindy) and niece Sue Goossens (Brian) and their families.  Jim served in WWII as a medic in the #10 General Hospital Unit.  He was a longtime member of Dunlop United Church where he spent many years as a Cub and Scout Leader.  Jim was a gentle man who was looked up to by all his family and friends.  Cremation will take place.  A memorial service will be held to celebrate Jim’s life at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at 1:00 p.m., with family and friends being received from 12 noon until the service commences at 1:00.  Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Vision Nursing Home, Dunlop United Church or the charity of your choice (cheques only at the funeral home please).  Memories and condolences may be sent online at
