After a long courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis, it is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Danielle Victoria Miller, age 19, on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, while surrounded by her loving family at University Hospital – LHSC. In spite of her disease, Danielle never lost her love of life and family, her sense of humour, her love of reading and all things Twilight, her enjoyment of cooking and her dream to be a guest judge on The Iron Chef.  Danielle is survived by her loving mother, Sue Miller and partner Steve Klamer, her loving father, John Miller, and her loving brother, Wyatt Miller. Also survived by her loving aunts and uncles, Barclay LaCourse, Linda Zylstra (Bill), Sandy LaCourse, Shelley Brown, Julie George (Ron), Tim LaCourse, Judy and Joe Zeleznak, cousins Marcy and Bill Zylstra, Ron Hicks, Nathan LaCourse, Dana and Natalie Brown, April and Jason George, Joey and Mikey Zeleznak as well as her several close second cousins.  Danielle will be greatly missed by her best friend (sister) Jennifer Frew. Danielle also touched the hearts of many healthcare professionals who came into contact with her during her many hospitalizations.  Cremation has taken place.  Visitation will be held at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Saturday, September 22, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Sarnia Chapter, would be greatly appreciated (cheques only at the funeral home please).
