Mrs. Edith Marie Micks, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus, Chatham, at the age of 66.
Edith was born in Sarnia and was a daughter of the late Ernest and Christina May (Field) Burdett.
Beloved wife of Frank Micks.
Loving mother of Richard (Diane) Caughlin, Betty-Jo (Brad Fischer) Clarke, Mike Micks and step mother of Melissa (Jesse) Lozon and Michelle (Jason) Myers.
Sadly missed by 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Kind sister of Helen Wood, Herbert Burdett, William Burdett, Gary Burdett.
Predeceased by her brother Bob Burdett and her sisters Gail Patricia Caughlin, Carol Chipman and Betty Lorraine Burdett.
Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 21, 2013 from Our Lady Help of Christians Church at 11:00 am with Fr. Jacek Kokosa, Celebrant.
Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg
