Passed away unexpectedly with family by his side on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 74 years of age. Beloved husband of Margueritte for 50 years. Loving father of Janette Hearn (Bob), Chris (Diana DeRochie), Joe (Ursula), Jamie Bessette (Kevin) and Jim (Tricia). Proud grandpa of 13 grandchildren. Dearest brother of the late Alvin (late Elsie), Beatrice Mailloux (late Gabriel), the late Omer (Laura), the late Lawrence (late Maxine), Andre (Sharon), Stan, the late Philip (Catherine), Richard (Mary) and the late Roseanne Harrison (late Harold). Dear brother-in-law of Gus Deleersnyder, Yvonne Gagnon, Andy Deleersnyder, the late Louis Deleersnyder, Hank Deleersnyder, Catheline Renaud, Odile “OJ” Deleersnyder and Madeline Morency. Lowell retired from Fabco after 26 years of service. He had a love of the land and a passion for farming. He loved his family and was a devoted grandpa, he will be sadly missed. The family would like to give special thanks to the 3rd floor nurses, Lorraine and Michelle at WRH for their compassion and care, as well as a large thank you to the Gesto Fire Station and the EMS team for their valiant effort to extend Lowell’s life until family could surround him. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 87 Maidstone Ave. E., Essex (519-776-4233) on Sunday 7-9 pm and Monday 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Clements Catholic Church, 9567 Walker Road, McGregor Ontario on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Ray Masse celebrant. Interment to follow at St. Clement’s Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes would be appreciated.
