George McRoberts, a lifetime resident of London Twp, at the age of 71 on New Year’s Day, 2015.  He leaves behind broken hearted his beloved spouse Nancy Newton.  Predeceased by his parents Bill and Hope (Wannamaker) McRoberts.  Survived by his sister Sharon and Russ Fox of Granton, daughters Lee and Brad Dunbar of Lucan and Kerri McRoberts of Whitehorse, and grandchildren Taylor, Jake and Paige Dunbar, and Elias and Mylo McRoberts-Barton. He will be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends who will forever cherish their times with him. Prior to his long illness he was an active community member: long-time operator of Bryanston General Store, cub leader, farmer, curler, golfer, avid canoeist and outdoorsman.

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Thursday evening 7-9 PM and on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 10th at 11 AM with Pastor Paul Vollick officiating. Cremation with spring interment Medway Cemetery, Middlesex Centre.
