Promoted to Glory – July 14, 2012 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.

Born in Chatham 67 years ago, May 1, 1945 to the late Thomas and Lena  Golubov.  Beloved wife of Rev. Paul McPhail for 48 years, mother of Joel, Anthony/Pat, Aaron/Patti, grandmother to Moriah, Alexis, Brodie, Gabriel, Camille, step grandmother to Jacob, Megan, Stephen, Kristopher and Kaitlyn. Sister to Virginia Bedard and the late Robert all of Chatham and sister–in-law to John and Carol McPhail of Maple Ridge, B.C. Respected and loved by Uncle Ted, her many cousins, a niece and a nephew. In church circles, Anna Mae was well known Co-Pastor of the Chatham Christian Centre, for her gospel music (keyboard and voice), speaking, and writing.  In the business community she was a well known Real Estate Broker of Record – Anna Mae McPhail Real Estate Ltd. and later McPhail Realty Services Ltd., who served organized Real Estate as a Board Member and several terms as President of the Chatham-Kent Real Estate Board.  Anna Mae was a two time cancer survivor.  We thank God for the extra seventeen years.  In the last year she fought a courageous fight with P-ANcA Vasculitis.  God heals in two ways and He chose this way to heal Anna Mae. We are saddened by our loss, but know she is in a much better place. She will be missed by all of us who love her so dearly.  Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 on Tuesday July 17th visiting from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.  The funeral service will be celebrated at Evangel Community Church, 76 Sandys Street, Chatham, on Wednesday July 18th at 1:30 p.m. with Rev.
